How To Help Process Stress, Anxiety and Negative Thoughts with Tapping (EFT)

Imagine having a tool at your fingertips that allowed you to calm anxiety, reduce stress and quiet negative thoughts!

In today's episode of The Chalene Show Podcast, join Chalene Johnson as she dives deep into the transformative world of EFT, also known as Emotional Freedom Techniques or "tapping." Unearth the principles of energy psychology, discover how tapping on specific body meridians can potentially rewire our brain's responses to stress and anxiety, and find out why this method has been likened to moving a needle past a record's scratch.

As Chalene candidly shares her own transformative experience with tapping and its unexpected after-effects, she also brings forth a heart-touching story of her close friend, Jen. A resilient breast cancer survivor turned caregiver, Jen's journey sheds light on the profound emotional and physiological shifts that tapping can invoke. Whether you're a skeptic, curious, or seeking alternative healing methods, this episode emphasizes the importance of exploration, perseverance, and hope in our quest for well-being.

Tune in and explore the potential of tapping to be a tool for balance in your life.

    I’m willing ❤

  • CosmosHFA88 Savant says:

    Box breathing works for me..

  • Adventures With Robin says:

I learned about tapping nearly 13-15 years ago and went to a trained therapist when I was recovering from a traumatic life event about 12 years ago. It is so effective and I’m glad you’re talking about it

  • Lauren Fannaly says:

I tried tapping as a college student. One of the professors offered me sessions because he was learning it. I used it for body image and an eating disorder. I think it helped but my boyfriend at the time bullied me in to stopping. I should’ve known not to marry him. He really disparaged anything I did that was positive and built me up. 11 years after my divorce I’m still working through the trauma I endured from him.
Long story short, I think tapping is a great tool! I need to add it back to my regimen. Thank you for sharing this! Thank you for your servant’s heart and the light that you share. ❤

  • Kat Parrott says:

Are all of us tapping along at around 18:00 minutes in, or is it just me lolol

  • Tracey Ní Breitheamh 🇮🇪 says:

Had to learn these regulation techniques over a decade ago, due to my son having Autism, tapping and breathing techniques help him immensely, he is high functioning and verbal now at 16 and understands when he’s in over load,t he comes to me and we still do these techniques together when he’s on the brink. We also blow up a an imaginary balloon and release it. All these things absolutely work. ❤❤❤ we learned about it when he was 5 in early intervention we had an amazing occupational therapist.

  • YazmanianDevil says:

I had my doubts and was very skeptical about EFT but a therapist taught it to me recently and I thought if a trained professional is recommending it, then there must be something there. To my surprise and astonishment it actually does work. I don’t know how or why but it does. My only barrier is finding it tedious and sometimes losing the self-discipline to make myself do it daily which is the only way it is effective. I can use it in the moment sometimes and it’s a good grounding tool, but it doesn’t work for overall anxiety as effectively if you don’t do it every day. Preferably starting in the morning.

  • Gala Darling says:

Chalene, THANK YOU so much for this. I love hearing about it from your perspective — Saturday was a great session and I could really feel the energy shifting in the room. Such a pleasure to help you and Jen. Love you!!

  • Lisa Velez-Davis says:

Thank you for sharing today’s topic. I learned about tapping about 10 years ago and have shared with others. I think it can be beneficial . Thank you for always trying to bring us topics and resources for a better and happier quality of life. I hope your dear friends find peace and joy even with all the challenges they face. I wish you and your family all the best.

  • Rundown with Rachel says:

What I love so much about EFT is it allows me to release my emotions which I’ve gotten SO GOOD at just holding in (which is toxic) – EFT helps me let those emotions surface and release.

  • JR says:

I just started watching your videos, and am Grateful to have found you. This particular video came at best of my time, as my stress levels “are through the roof”. Thank You for this and all your videos. I will be trying tapping. Take Care

  • J Messick says:

It’s amazing how our body’s energy flows. I have done EFT off and on for years when first introduced to the subject on a podcast. I also follow a yoga and qigong practitioner that incorporates some tapping. I really need to do EFT more often. Thanks for reminding me just how amazing you can feel instead of letting your mind replay the same negative stuff.
    ❤️Blessings, Linda
