  • Michael Kim says:

Thanks for the video. I’m at 27 yo healthy fit individual who has pre-diabetic ranges of blood sugar. Diabetes does not discriminate and if it’s in your genes, no matter how healthy, you are prone to it. It’s definitely been a rough few days after finding out why I’ve been having abdominal pain and headaches all the time, but am glad to be on the right track.

  • E Reyes says:

My sugar has gone from 430 to 89-100 fasting and about 166 after a meal. !!!! Thank you so much!!

  • Gary Vale says:

Dennis….I am a 63 year young male and my A1C has been climbing slowly the past 2 years, ( 5.2 and now up to 5.8 ) even though I switched to sugar free cookies, lower sugar cereals and diet soft drinks…..because of your videos, I am now understanding it most likely is the carbs I need to reduce too……………… finding your videos very helpful ……..

    • Beat Diabetes! says:

      You can do it!

    • Franklin the Skateboarding Bulldog says:

Try the keto diet. I’ve been on it for 3 months now and my A1C has dropped from 6.5 to 5.4. And to think that my endo told me not to go keto.

    • Annabell Bella says:

@Franklin the Skateboarding Bulldog Agree, I love the Keto ! Congrats on dropping your levels.

    • Sharon Burns says:

@Franklin the Skateboarding Bulldog Keto is great but just by being diebetic your are 10 times the risk for heart attack and stroke. All the fat in keto is bad for your heart.Tread lightly.

    • Maame Dansowaa says:

Switch to a non processed anti began Inflammatory and gluten free diet.

  • B84 J84 says:

Great video! Your selection of foods sound very similar to the ketogenic diet. I’m going to give this a try. I’m in my late 20’s but my blood glucose level is around 145. I’m trying to get it below 100. Loved the pictures and pace of video, short and to the point.

  • Dashonda Netters says:

Thank you Sir for breaking this complicated diet down to something so simple. Because I am living off of a fixed income and I was really worried as to how will I be able to keep up with eating certain foods especially losing weight.

  • Jeff Stoker says:

I was just recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes this video was a huge help. God bless you.

  • Joyfully Living Life says:

I am a non-medicated type 2 diabetic. When I have to walk through the bakery section of the grocery store I repeat, I am walking THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death. 🤣 Thank you for your very well made and educational videos.

  • Erics Granny says:

This information is invaluable! I attended two eight hour day training about diabetes when first diagnosed and did not get near the information I have received in a few of your videos! Thank you so much!

  • Sonja Wright says:

One important point that was overlooked about the nutrition profile of beans is their protein content. Lentils and chickpeas (garbanzo beans) are very high in protein as are great northern and black beans which slow the absorption of glucose into the blood stream.

  • kuya sam says:

I’m diabetic, I’m trying to reduce my carbohydrate consumption. My hba1c was 9.3 few months ago… after watching your channel i have managed to bring it down yo 7.6 in 3 months. I am a big snack eater. I have been eating a lot of peanuts lately! 😃

  • Rebecca Gonzales says:

Thanks for this very well put together video… I’m new at all this, 1Week ago my doctor gave me the news that I am no longer pre diabetic, I cried and once I controlled myself I am doing lots of research…. Great video….I’m trying to get into a workshop or a class on diabetes and the good diet in my neighborhood but right now I come up with nothing since school has already started and those programs are not offered but I will call my medical insurance plan and hopefully they have something and I will go from there but your video is great it’s a big help thank you so much.

  • LuAnn Corbin says:

I just stumbled on to your vids this evening. I’m so exited. I’ve felt so defeated. I am diabetic. Breakfast is my hardest meal of the day. I need to get my weight down. Thank you so much for the info in plain understandable words. I just went though a divorce and I need to get out of a stuck feeling and get moving forward. I was getting ready to celebrate my 40th anniversary when my husband decided he wasn’t having any fun in his life. I love the Lord and I love your commitment to helping those who feel lost in getting healthy. Thank you. God is good.

  • linda handley says:
