Now more than even we need to be very careful about what even the politics said about health, it is scary!!!

  • @larrywhitt1649 says:

I think it’s both that causes health problems.

  • @shalizaojagir7034 says:

What I believe Kennedy is doing is taking one step at a time. Imagine throwing out everything all at once to the American public that is set in their ways. Give him a chance he hasn’t even started yet.

  • @kenjackben says:

isn’t it possible that the color and the preservatives are harmful and also the sugar

  • @anomarnamloh7444 says:

Thanks for calling out the BIG Elephant in the Room. We can’t become the strainers of knats and “swallowers” of camels

  • @joshtoten says:

Yep, some people are worried about the wrong things! That’s not to say I don’t think we need to get rid of a lot of these chemicals, but we SHOULD be doing away with all of these sugars and carbs first!

  • @JL-hn6hi says:

A well-balanced assessment. If he gets confirmed, we’ll see what happens when he runs into the processed food industry.

  • @marinoint says:

Very well said. 👍 Sugar & refined carb are extremely harmful junk that everyone should avoid, or at least minimize as much as possible.

  • @fumanpoo4725 says:

    Potential health apocalypse coming.

  • @sianab8174 says:

Brilliant summing up of the problem Dennis, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I watched a posting by Dr Sunil Dhand cheering Trump and Kennedy and I thought “ Oh boy are you on the wrong track” and unsubscribed from him. I only want an unbiased, truthful opinion and I get that from you Dennis. That enough for me. Thank you for all you do to help us.

I’M HEARTBROKEN 💔 to see you’ve gone political on the beat diabetes channel. What a tremendous relief it was when all those political ads and rants ended. But I guess they haven’t really ended, it was wishful thinking on my part. Your past helpfulness has been appreciated, but this is something I didn’t sign up for and I believe the helpfulness ends here.
    👋🏼😢

    • @dennismonte8098 says:

      totally agree😐

    • @joshtoten says:

But he’s not pushing his politics on you. He’s merely speaking about current events in the health industry, and how they STILL aren’t enough to help us beat diabetes. Did you try watching the video or did you kneejerk react to the title?

  • @mimitam9224 says:

Agreed! Thanks for pointing it out so clearly!

  • @noyebalmer8112 says:

America and now the world is set in their ways and it will take a long time to change it for the better. Many people will continue to needlessly suffer, have shortened lives, and either be financial burdens on society or become themselves financially strapped trying to take care of their health in their remaining days.

I applaud the incoming administration for at least taking steps no one else ever did.

The battle is just beginning, and the pushback will be epic.

I hope they can at least make some changes before the next administration post Trump reverses everything

  • @x00p3 says:

Diabetes and other food related health problems were here long before we started using preservatives and dyes into food. Ancient Egypt was an example.

  • @crowznest438 says:

Getting sugar out of everything that isn’t a dessert would be a hit with me. I do remember when M Obama tried to get healthy food into schools and was fought the whole way. I’m not an Obama fan on most other subjects but with more information on the future of kids’ health depending on the food they eat, maybe the kids would have come around after the first few rounds of tantrums. Or not. People of all ages give in too easily to selfish desires.

  • @marklinnell7167 says:

Looking at RFK jr I am sure he limits sugar and carbs I also suspect he is very metabolicly healthy. You have to start somewhere and this is a step in the right direction.

  • @joygardner3356 says:

Give the guy a chance before he even starts.

  • @suetsnbjj2853 says:

Amen! Lord help us! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Amen! Avoidance is key.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Benedicta. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

  • @kenhill3230 says:

I am all about them getting ingredients out of food that have been deemed by science to be harmful. That is not a magic bullet though. People need to be educated about proper nutrition and what they are doing to their body by eating junk. Product labeling should be stricter also. The whole thing is a mess. People eat all of this harmful stuff and then plop on a sofa playing games, texting, computer, tv etc… When I was a kid obesity was the exception instead of the rule. We were active and we ate more home cooked balanced meals. Fast food was an occasional treat.
