My boss told me to lose weight…
Like and comment if you want me to do a series on this! Please tell me how the following makes YOU feel?
Do you believe the return to ultra skinny is dangerous? Explain.
What do you think when you see a celebrity or someone you follow lose a significant amount of weight?
Do you consider it body shaming when people call it out or do you think it’s important to discuss? Explain

Yes ❤
Very interesting!😮❤❤❤
Sure! I would love to hear a video about this. I’ve been watching and seeing you for many years. I always thought you had the greatest body. (Not trying to be creepy, I just admired you!) I can’t BELIEVE that they wanted you to lose weight! Ugh!😣
Yes!! Please 😊
Yes 👍
Undermining & infantilizing a full grown adult woman by going through her husband… cowards. Good grief!
Yes, please!
Yes, I want to see a different side or take on the GLP1 discussion. If you have a different viewpoint ok.❤❤❤❤
That happened only 10 years ago?? That’s crazy and understandably embarrassing. Sorry that happened to you.
Me too yes 😢😢😢
The only surefire method for work stress is early retirement.
God Bless You Chalene for sharing this story. Women spend the first half of our lives trying to be enough and the middle trying to hold on to what we have. By the end we have the wisdom required to appreciate ourselves for who we are. We are enough. God says so.
Im 65, and im not there yet. But, I hope to be. Religion hasnt done it for me. Lol.
Yes!
After struggling with body dysmorphie and being bulimic and anorexic for all of my life I feel you. Why has being incredibly thin come back in fashion? It’s so unhealthy. I think of currently watching Ariana Grande shrinking before our eyes. It’s like we are watching her starve herself to death. Like Karen Carpenter. 💔 It’s devastating for all of us to watch, but especially for those of us who struggle with body image and body dysmorphie .
I tried the glp-1 and it caused many problems. I have co-workers who are having wonderful results. I am happy for them! It does make me wonder why my body decided it was bad, yet it isn’t hurting them. But I know what being “shamed” feels like. So I try not to do that. Women need to support each other.
That’s tough.I have struggled most of my adult life with the scale going up and down and people have always had something to say..sometimes good sometimes appalling. I had a bad experience with the shots but I know others who have done well.I guess to each their own just proceed with caution.
Health and fitness compared to how bony you are is such a hard topic and I like talking about it and hearing about it from somebody who has as much insight and perspective as you do
I gained lots of weight with my first pregnancy. Started dancing again. I was 25. Went from 125 to 165. Then I started teaching weight training & aerobics. I taught 2 classes a day & weightlifting. I lost all the weight & got down to 110 pounds. My body fat is as 8 percent. My dance teacher & couch in college & my boss where I taught were very concerned about my 8 percent body fat. They kept saying that’s a man’s body fat. Yours should be higher. But I felt great. No health problems whatsoever. I am not saying any woman’s body weight or percentage of body fat should ever be that low. After 2 years I got my body weight to 120 pounds & my body fat to 16 percent. And I never looked back at how much I was judged by women. ❤
More on this please. I was offered GLP-1 as weight loss by someone very young that was dating an elderly man who actually did have diabetes. I declined. Now whenever i see anyone who used to be somewhat overweight and had lost quite a bit I automatically suspect that it’s Ozempic that they used.
And you are probably right.
That stinks. Sorry that to you. I’ve always loved and admired you. I think you’ve always been beautiful.
The first thing that I thought of after hearing this was the Demi Moore movie “The Substance“ and picturing Dennis Quaid’s character telling your husband that message. I think it is a topic worth exploring further.
