Push ups jus for women??
When you externally rotate the wrists (finger tips away) you change the position of the shoulder and recruit different muscles.
A traditional push-up tends to bias the chest (pecs) and anterior deltoid more heavily, muscles many women neglect. Plus Men tend to have stronger chest muscles.
With this variation, you’ll feel more triceps, serratus anterior, lower traps, and the smaller rotator cuff muscles like the infraspinatus and teres minor (which helps stabilize the shoulder.)
The upside?
For anyone (not just women) with cranky shoulders, or weaker chest muscles, this version might feel easier and way more shoulder-friendly.
Small adjustment.
Completely different muscles used.

I did the same thing right away when I saw that video and yeah why are they soooo easy 🤷♀️
Because you’re engaging more muscles to help out, instead of isolating your chest and triceps and front delts only when changing your arm position. This is actually pretty excellent because you get the best of all the worlds and your chest and arms are still on fire 🔥
OK, I’m trying these later!!
They’re harder for me. 😢
Same I don’t get it.
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️💪❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️👸
But does easier mean better?
Depends on your goal. Different muscles
Easier can mean movement instead of none.
I’m so glad you did this!! When I find this I was telling my husband and he said try them! So I did it and it was so easy lol
Team cranky shoulders here, going to try these.
Need some instruction on these
I just tried. I don’t get it. Regular push ups are way easier for me. What am I doing wrong? Help!

In Gymnastics Training Session We Put Our Fingers Pointing Out During Push Ups! 💪👌😎
My arms and legs are long I find push ups so challenging. I am moderately strong but working on it as many of us are. I doubt this ladies version would help but worth a try!
You go girl
You’re too cute!
Triceps push ups – not engaging chest as much.
Am I the only woman who definitely doesn’t find these any easier? Because the hand placement just feels awkward to me. I prefer doing them the normal, way 🤷♀️
Fine both ways, I want to build up my pecs anyway too
