  2. As first commenter, hoping you will read. I am five years into menopause and becoming increasingly insulin resistant in spite of low to zero carb diet and fasting and ozempic and and and. Read a study about the effects of estrogen and increased insulin sensitivity, so I went to the Dr and requested hrt. Within 8 hours my glucose as measured on my cgm dropped to normal levels, no spiking, no middle of the night raised levels – in fact, the first two weeks I went low multiple times due to the effects of excess insulin having been pumped out by my body. My energy is fully restored and my AIC has dropped back to normal range 5.7, from 6.2
    Tell everyone! I have been seeing an endocrinologist in Victoria, BC , for 5 years, not once did they check my insulin or hormone levels.

  4. And how many years was the Standard American Disaster… err Diet prescribed? 60 or 70 years, maybe longer? And… Does anyone remember Ancel Keys contribution to the low-fat diet?

Thanks to advice from you, as well as a handful of other trusted experts, i am attempting to reverse the damage as a result of being given poor medical advice for the last 40 plus years. As a 65y old male; changing my diet (low-carb, with TRF, IF), along with incorporating modest exercise (for cardio- NOT weight loss), in 1.5y I’ve lost 85lbs, and have blood markers that have my PCP and MD scratching their heads.
    Please keep up the knowledge sharing through the excellent and informative videos. We do appreciate your efforts.

  7. Dr.Fung please help I just watched Hubberman and Dr.Sims was on stating that fasting was not good for women and to eat 30 min after waking ? ive been fasting for years and when I don’t I feel worse
