  1. The kind at the store does NOT work for me. Raises my blood sugar too much for my liking. Making my own chaffles, etc. is the only option.

  2. I can eat a McDonalds happy meal burger and it will go yo 200 + . Today I start taking Mounjero and am hoping it will lower my blood sugar.

  3. I found that Hero breads spike my blood sugar but Unbelievable breads for me are great. I really like the monkey bread. Though a whole monkey bread is 140 calories. So I’ll eat a knot or two to cut back on the calories. The hot dog and hamburger buns don’t spike me either.

  5. They cook and cool the wheat repeatedly. They then claim it’s resisant starch. That’s the fiber. I don’t believe them, so I’ll stick with chaffles.

  6. These keto breads modify the starch carbs in the flour believing that bacteria in your gut won’t touch them, but the gut bacteria often eventually do break some of it into sugars.
I prefer Base Culture, the original keto bread to the modified wheat flour keto breads.

  7. Wow! All that protein and fiber in the 1st meal, and you weren’t back to normal after that large amount of time?!?! 😒

  8. I’ve been watching this channel for about 10 months now . When I started my A1c was 12 , 10 months later it is just under 6 . I’ve been keeping my total carbs to below 25 a day and doing the time restricted eating ( 14 to 16 hour window ) I’ve lost 60 pounds during this time . I walk 1.5 miles a day and just started doin elevated push-ups from about waist high ( at 58 years old that’s were I had to start ) and some dumbbell curls and overhead lifts , these exercises have brought my overall test numbers down by 10 to 12 points . I’m really optimistic about being in the mid 5s at my next A1c test . Thank you for the work you do Brother , may you be blessed by our GOD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST the LORD .

  9. Walking my dog the other day I met a lower leg amputee, he didn’t have the profile of most diabetics, wasn’t overweight and I thought maybe he was veteran. I asked him about it and he said, “diabetes”. That got me wondering and AI says…… Approximately 154,000 Americans suffer diabetes-related lower-extremity amputations each year, a figure that has remained high despite earlier declines in the rates of such procedures.
This number far exceeds the total of 1,700 American soldiers who had limbs removed due to combat injuries in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2002

  10. The fiber is a combination of resistant starch and cellulose. I just ate two slices of that exact bread, actually. No blood glucose impact at all.

  11. I’ve been using this bread for a year now and my A1C, which I take every 3 months, has not changed. I haven’t tried taking my blood after 3 hours but after 1 hour I see no rise . I normally use the Multi Grain Natures Own, 1 carb because of taste. I can tell the difference in taste. I’ll continue to use this bread as my A1C doesn’t change. I do believe that we are all different and foods affect us differently. Thanks for the Glucose test.

  12. If your a1c is not coming down eating very low carb, try fasting. It worked for me. Myba1c was stuck at 5.8 for 7 months eating very low carb. I did the 5 day FMD fasting and 3 weeks later my a1c was 5.5

  13. When I started with you 7 years ago, I started with hamburgers. I didn’t use any bun then or now. I haven’t eaten a hamburger bun in 7 years. I’m not interested in keto bun numbers because I’m not going to eat one. I do eat chauffles & I make them with lupin flour. I did a test about 3 months ago. Before eating, my sugar was 78. After eating a hamburger with chauffles on top and bottom, my sugar was 85. 3 hours later it was back to 78. Do I eat any kind of store bought keto product? Nope, never. Thank you Ben and Den, and God bless.
