  1. Wow-I totally relate and have just given up too. Would adore for you to share your alternative drinks as that’s where I’m getting stuck as still want the feeling of joy that it brought without the effects! Thank you for all you do-you are such an inspiration!!!

  2. I absolutely relate to this and the same realization you did just a few months ago. Alsonread the book Quit Like A Woman, has a very femenist bend but very enlightening regarding how alcohol is marketed and sold to women and why is woven into the fabric of our culture

  3. Thankfully societal norms have shifted away from cocktails, vino & vodka to Mocktails 🍹 Cheers Sista ! 👌🏼😎😅

  4. Ok…. whats your mocktail?? I dont eat sugar . And very little carbs. But a couple tequilla drinks at night will be hard to drop

  5. When I quit in 2016 for 7 years I actually had alcohol dreams. It was crazy. I do not drink like I did before that time off. I will have a sip of cognac after a full meal on occasion. That daily wine space was a horrible place to be. Annie Grace’s book was instrumental.

  6. I drink socially, which is rare. I just have too much to do, and I need to be at peak mental capacity every day. That’s why I choose not to drink on the daily.

  7. Thank you so much for sharing and really taking the time to explain this. It is so very important to know and understand what is going on. I can’t explain how much this really means to me. Thank you.😊

  8. Thank you so much for sharing and really taking the time to explain this. It is so very important to know and understand what is going on. I can’t explain how much this really means to me. Thank you.😊 love it if I knew I had to know it or I may have got that backwards knowing it you have to do something. You have to examine yourself for real. You have to admit it you are so right thank you for being true to yourself and to those who need to be true to themselves and it’s probably I’m talking about myself😂

  9. I don’t drink anymore but I’m this way with food. I eat to feel better but I feel like crap. I don’t want to admit that I have an issue.

  10. Absolutely Agree ❤..I stopped for Exactly the same Reason 6 months ago..i lost 4 stone in weight and it just wasn’t me Drinking x i also drank Alcohol most of my life im 60 next week x ❤

  11. I have never drank. I married 2 alcoholics. I don’t understand it but I also don’t understand how people don’t want to have a cup of coffee in the morning😅

  12. Not to mention it’s a class 1 carcinogen announced by the FDA but that news slipped through unnoticed during COVID. I’m a cancer physician and I did hear the message, so at age 50, I stopped. Best decision I ever made. Better mornings, better sleep, better brain, better metabolism. The real question to me now is ‘why would I ever put something that toxic in my body?’
