Thank you Dr Jason. You are the man…!!! Brilliant findings. Now i understand way better.

Great video so true timing and all you brought out bravo!

  • @user-um6xv3kb4t says:

    Thank you Dr. Fung!!

  • @WinstonSmithGPT says:

I never know to go after one of these videos. I just need simple instructions. I can’t watch a hundred videos and piece things together.

  • @JohnsonNestorFamily says:

OMG this is sooo me right now! I’m 61 lost 160 lbs and have been trying to maintain. I’ve been very stressed recently and have gained about eight or so lbs even though I’ve been doing the same diet and fasting schedule. I recently did a five day fast to try to drop a few and I didn’t lose ANYTHING. So I’m going to try going carnivore for awhile and see how it goes. No more nuts and veggies. I’m trying animal based foods only. Unfortunately, my stress isn’t going to be going away so I’m going to have to figure out another way. Thank you so much for all you do ❤️🙏!

    • @eunuseusuf says:

      me too

    • @dilettanter says:

I know, me too! I did a five day water fast and didn’t lose any significant weight — and it also didn’t seem to reset my system like it had done in the past. Maybe because I’m post menopause now by several years??? How does menopause effect these issues?

    • @dilettanter says:

      *Affect

    • @JohnsonNestorFamily says:

@@dilettanter I don’t know? I was post menopausal when I lost my 160lbs but it seems like it’s a battle to go back to my lowest. I’ve been battling these ten lbs. I don’t really mind where I’m at but I don’t want to gain more. I was also thinking that I’ve also added Allulose sweetener to my coffee. It’s not supposed to do anything but….? So I’m done with that too. Just coffee and a bit of heavy cream. We’ll see?!🤞

    • @bongovonzipper says:

I gained 15 pounds trying to eat carnivore, it’s not a magic diet. Added carbs back in and dropped the 15 pounds. Don’t freak out if you gain, it’s clearly very common.

  • @Say-Hello-yall says:

    Dr. Fung is a hero

  • @CedroCron says:

I was 495lbs and couldn’t lose weight despite strict adherence to what my doctor was telling me to eat… I went on an Ultra-Low carb diet with high (good) fats for satiation and I dropped all the weight like magic. As time went on I became never hungry so I didn’t eat unless I was hungry. Sometimes this would be eating every other day. Fast forward 7 years and the weight is still gone and none of the health problems I had from that weight have returned. At first the weight fell off like crazy, but then after the first month it slowed but continued gradually until it was all gone.

    • @JohnsonNestorFamily says:

@@CedroCron Wow! Congratulations to you 🎉👏! Awesome testimony 👍😃

    • @CedroCron says:

@@JohnsonNestorFamily Thank you. It was resources like Dr. Fung that really had me think differently and literally saved my life. I was a heart attack waiting to happen and worst of all my doctor kept blaming me for not trying hard enough. Counting carbs and not Calories is what fixed it for me, then adding fasting into the mix later on. I feel so good now, and the skin conditions I had all cleared up as well. The body will heal itself if you give it what it wants.

    • @JohnsonNestorFamily says:

@@CedroCron My story is similar! I found Dr Fung’s interviews, lectures and books almost four years ago and changed my life! I’m so thankful! 🙏😁. Keep up the great work 💪👍!
You can see my story on The Magic of Fasting YouTube channel 😃👍. Be well!

    • @JohnsonNestorFamily says:

@@CedroCron Amazing work and you should be so proud of taking control of your own health!
I too found Dr Fung’s interviews, lectures and books almost four years ago and changed my life. I’m 61 and lost 160 lbs and it changed my life and reversed ALL my health issues. I’m so thankful!
      Be well! 😃💪

    • @Ouroboros10 says:

Carbs make you fat, that is a fact! I’ve certainly found it strange how cutting out carbs just makes the fat melt away like magic.
Calorie counting is such a damaging lie, we’ve all been brought up on.

  • @sherrischwartz6844 says:

I love your passion for trying to help people lose weight. Take care.

  • @LCarefortheworld says:

Dr. Jason is absolutely right. Personal experience.

  • @gogreengameon2146 says:

Thank you Dr. Fung, I have recently discovered your videos and been looking for exactly this! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  • @AI_native says:

Jason is _THE_ authorative source on weight loss science

  • @ethimself5064 says:

Few yrs ago I decided to loose weight and cut my Total Carbs to 65 gr/day. I used a medical sliding weight scale to weigh myself an the beginning and after exactly 5 weeks while eating healthy. I lost exactly 32 pounds in exactly 5 weeks. When I told my GP this he spin his chatr around so hard it started to tip over and he declared – How much. This I will never forget

  • @anthonyanthony2783 says:

Your videos are amazing. I also buy your books which are really interesting reads. It’s great to have a guru out there that DOESN’T try and sell us garbage protein bars and protein powders that look like crack but actually is selling science

  • @donniedeville5102 says:

Thanks for the video but you’ve given us literally nothing. Please do a video on precisely how to impact hormones to reduce your thermostat. That’s why we’re all here. You know we don’t already know the hormonal effects of the foods that we are eating.

  • @violinlover4933 says:

Dr Fung you changed my life, God bless you ❤🎉

  • @andrewsingleton2710 says:

    Thank you Jason.
