  1. Great!!! I love pasta and have avoided it for years until recently. My dad was Italian so it seemed sad to never eat it again but i look for pasta made in Italy and eat it for a special occasion. Their products are much better than ours.

    1. If you can find chickpeas pasta in your country. Maybe you can give it a try. According to Justin who did the test, it doesn’t spike as much as normal and wheat pasta. I don’t have a chance to try since chickpeas pasta is not available here.

    2. ​@ChuChuAndAhBathanks but i just don’t like substitute things for pasta. But this idea might be good for someone else. I’m also not diabetic so it’s not vital for me. I am only having real Italian pasta on occasion and try to have a small serving. It’s delightful!

  2. I think it’s good to know this. I’m not a purist. Every once in a while, I’m gonna eat some carbs. But to know what carbs are at least better is helpful.

  4. Is food combining a factor also? If you pair white rice with vegetables, does that help because of the fiber?
