    1. That’s your opinion. I am assuming this site is not for political opinions but for health reasons

    2. Did you even watch this video??!! While the new guidelines might not be exactly perfect, It’s pretty darn close. The new guidelines are so much better which prove, I believe that they’ve been trying to keep us sick for so long to keep us on their big pharm medications.

  1. I will stick to my food pyramid. Carnivore saved my life from big Pharma and big food. I thought I was going to die.
Until I did my own research.

    1. Did you watch the whole video? Dennis is talking about how the old food pyramid is what was killing people and making them sick the new one is a huge reversal of the old one that’s a win for us who believe in the powers of low carb, high protein, high meat, high fat

    2. @paulinenapieralski5661 if you don’t mind me asking, what is your issue? You are here watching Dennis‘s videos so I’m assuming you agree/follow his method of eating and thoughts about Nutrition and he is agreeing with the new food guide- so again what is your issue?

    3. @cleigh951 yes, I did watch the whole video. Im just saying that I have to stick to my own food pyramid. Everybody is not built the same. Some can have vegetable and fruit. I can’t. My body reacts immediately. I think it depends on how damaged your body is or was. I am allergic to anything other than Carnivore diet. My autoimmune issues come back immediately if I deviate from Carnivore.
      Everyone is different.
Just like blood pressure or cholesterol. We can’t have one size fits all.

    4. @pop867 thank you for clarifying. I misunderstood your original statement. I thought you were putting down the new pyramid as if it were 100% bad and the old one was 100% good. I thought you were agreeing with the old food guide pyramid. Yes I completely agree with you. We all have to tweak things a little bit to suit our bodies. But hopefully, if we’re all here watching Dennis‘s channel, we can agree with the old food pyramid being 100% wrong about all the fat free foods and all of the carbs.❤

  2. I am convinced you can’t please everyone. Diabetics know what is good for them or not if you research what your own body needs are. I am so tired of people judging and condemning everything and everyone. God gives us wisdom and knowledge

Protein is now given the respect it deserves! Eat real food and avoid ultra processed foods. The low carb diet is acknowledged as an effective intervention for those that struggle with obesity and diabetes! The times they are a-changing! Dennis disagrees with the following: 1. Still keeps a cap on saturated fats at 10% and 2. Emphasis on fruits vegetables 3. Over-emphasis on unprocess foods.

Mike the Meter is my bestie! Even though I am not diabetic and argue with Mike from time-to-time, I know he is telling me the truth!

  4. Hi Dennis. I now make my own Sausages. Butchers put in fillers and binders, like “rusk” (unlevened bread), non fat milk powder, rice flour, to name a few, all of which will raise blood glucose levels. I find a good home made pork, beef or chicken sausage with a 30% – 70% fat to meat ratio will not raise blood sugar to any degree. If I use a binder it is Whey Protein. Great hobby, many rewards. One of which is to have great blood sugar levels and a full belly. Now HBA1C is 4.8 after being 7.2. Must be doing something right! Gazza

  5. I got so tired of wishy-washy diets. Keto carnivore Mediterranean and all the rest. It worked for a while. You couldn’t eat a thing without worried about your blood sugar, your weight and so on and so on what kind of life is that? I finally went on Mounjaro and now no more high blood sugar and lost 14 pounds and down to my goal weight . This year there will be a pill form out and we no longer will have to take the shot. I’m very excited.

  6. I too don’t agree with fruits. Especially banana and grapes which will be spike both sugar and insulin.

  7. A government published nutrition guide is irrelevant. I wish all parties would stay out of the food business. Too many conflicts of interest, too easily swayed by big money.
