Muscle over Skinny
Comment Muscle or Skinny? I’ve done both. I choose muscle. Muscle only has positives! Muscle changes everything: metabolism, shape, confidence in shorts, ability to age with power, all your health markers and most of all it can help you fall in love with the nutrients your body needs to build muscle.
I terrified of what I see happening, not just in Hollywood, I’m seeing it in the gyms. I’m all for losing unhealthy weight but I urge you to prioritize muslce and to understand how to do that.
It’s much more than just consuming protein
This can’t be monitored just by looking in the mirror. Just because you can see someone’s muscle does not mean that they aren’t losing it. Weight loss that compromises muscle is a massive error and very few medical professionals are actively helping their patients to manage this. TBH, it’s up to us! We are too smart to slide back into skinny. Let’s get ripped ladies! Muslce is the flex you think it is.

I agree 💯 after my mom and Dad passed I just sat on the sofa and have been there for 6 months have lost almost all my muscle and in a rut! Don’t anybody do what I have done.Good for you Chalene😊😊
I started lifting weights in March! So far I’m up to 3x a week at home workouts. I will probably join a gym when the weights I have aren’t enough for me but I think that will be a while yet. At 45 I knew it was time to get serious about lifting. I don’t want to be a frail old lady. Yesterday was the 1st time I didn’t absolutely hate my workout.

After a facelift what was your protocol? 4 weeks out of full deep plane and I’m concerned with going too heavy now.
