  1. I snack to try to meet my protein goal. I can’t get enough protein in. Is it necessary to actually have 1gm per lb of ideal body weight when you are body building/leaning out? Im staying below 30g carbs most days and trying to hit 1350 calories

    1. Studies show even athletes for optimal growth don’t need any more than 1.6g per kg of healthy body weight. That’s still substantial but a little less.

  3. Just don’t buy snacks and don’t have them in the house. Eat real meals and stop being weak. People today just want instant gratification and can’t tolerate a little discomfort! It’s okay to want to eat snacks and not to.

  4. Jason it’s called waking in the flesh . It comes from a lack of a real relationship with our father in heaven. Galatians 5:15😊. Getting saved and repenting of gluttony gave me the power over it . That took care of the spiritual side of the issue and and your information helped me understand the physical side!

  5. Wrong! As A fat man, I disagree with him. Load up on fat with protein not protein with fat. Sardines drenched in olive oil, eggs drenched in butter, steak drenched in butter, ground beef drenched in butter, bacon with the fat, sauerkraut drenched in olive oil. That will prevent you from snacking and will keep your blood sugar steady and low!!!!!

    1. I have 3 weeks of proof with a CGM lingo continuously giving me blood sugar feedback and loosing weight!!! Finally!

    1. For me it all comes down to realizing that this kind of fun is just artificially gained. Similar like with alcohol. And if you learn how to achieve fun in different ways, there is no longer a need to snack

  6. I fast for 2–3 days, eat healthy meals with enough nutrients and supplements, then start another 2–3 day fast.

    I’ve experienced all the benefits and reached my weight goal, but I’ve also lost my period. That really worries me.

    Is this normal? What would you recommend I do?

    1. Simply put, you are malnourished and need to eat! I’d highly recommend a blood test with more than just the basics.
