Chaffles video:
Thank You Dennis!!!
I been useing chaffles for bread for over a year , I use a almond flour type , great cheeseburgers. Also other sandwiches.
I’m going to seek other recipes for chauffles. Although I don’t prefer the taste, I think it would work with a BLT
Thank you Dennis!
That is what keeps me from having chaffles – the pain of making them. lol I work full time and am very busy so I just get lazy. Could I make them and freeze them? Has anyone tried that?
Yes, I have made them and frozen them. Make a weeks worth and freeze. I usually don’t freeze more than two weeks, so they are fine, once defrosted. I don’t encourage longer than that, but maybe others can answer that. If I know I’ll eat the next day, I just cover and put in fridge.
Lof course. I gave up bread entirely and just recently added sour dough bread back. I just stick the whole bag into large baggie, or just a few slices in a baggie. Now I don’t have to make a store trip if I want bread. If they are hard for you to separate, you may spread them out on a pan, freeze, then put frozen slices into the baggie.
Once I got used to not eating sandwiches I now don’t miss them. On the very rare occasion I have a sandwich it would be made with one very thin slice of high fiber bread. Those keto breads play havoc with my digestive system.
*“The pig has evenly split hooves but does not chew the cud, so it is unclean.”* – Leviticus 11:7-8
*“… and the swine, though it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat any of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcasses.”* – Deuteronomy 14:8
In Mark 7:19, Jesus says that nothing outside a person can defile them, and that food does not go into the heart but into the stomach and is expelled.
@liztaylor3578 Food goes into the stomach, and the blood! Why do you think we are on a diabetic channel! Pork also has Trichina worms that travel into your intestines and brain matter.
Right and exactly!
Blessings. I eat the turkey bacon and I like it.
I love chaffles but they don’t love me back. My gut just won’t tolerate dairy any more. Do you have a recipe for a bread-like waffle that doesn’t have any cheese or cream in it?

I miss bread Sandi and subs and pretzels
You two are inspirational!
I’m not as careful as you are, and I still spike sometimes.
I will have to try chauffles again. I love breads, so I didn’t enjoy the eggy taste. Thanks Dennis
Use just the whites. It works.
I use keto bread even though many say dont ,, but I do . I always freeze then toast it before whatever I put on it and I have always only tested 2 hrs later and usually find my reading to be around 100. So keto is not a bad thing for me in the way I use it.
Some days you just feel like cheating , I mean really cheating. So the other day I bought 2 doughnuts a bismark[large] and a filled long john and milk with it. I had this in the morning and in the afternoon maybe 4 hrs after checked my BS and I certainly expected it to be at least 150 or higher after eating the morning sugar. The only thing I did to try and off set it during this time was a brisk 20 min walk. Anyway the BS reading came out as 102,, no way I thought this cant be, not even sure what that meant. So I got away with it on that day.
