Intermittent fasting is the best and you are it’s master

  • @marbra1928 says:

This guy was impressed by the amount of money, he wasn’t hating on the owner of the BMW.

  • @deepost2604 says:

I’m doing it alone. What works for me is to have ONLY healthy choices in stock. I may occasionally take in too many calories, but
a handful of nuts is not going to send me into a carb binge. Keeping yogurt with chia seeds ready has been useful.

  • @_Pat_1111 says:

What are good fasting insulin levels? Mine is 5 and 4, 5 and my doctor tells me my body doesn’t produce enough insulin and wants to put me on insulin. Is she right?
I prefer fasting and keto over injecting external insulin.

  • @manivang9792 says:

    Ty doc your the best

  • @lorenamcgovern says:

Yeah I’m finding he’s right. Even on carnivore, I don’t lose weight and my blood sugar is over 200. I have to do extended fasts to get blood sugar under 200 and lose weight

    • @_Pat_1111 says:

It has been my experience as well. I’m only losing with fasting, especially being in perimenopause. It is also not easy to not overdo protein on carnivore. You need to keep an eye on high fat, as a women especially.

  • @Ocxlocxl says:

Your right I can feel peckish at night on a 18:6 fast but when I wake up in the morning im not hungry again….amazing!

  • @bivianadifruscio9701 says:

My body only responds to extended fasting 😢(3+ days) and it’s hard for me .

  • @AtomicTed says:

Just a quick thanks. Diagnosed with Type 2 just a month after my Dad died (with diabetes as a cause of death) in 2022. Intermittent fasting (with the help of your knowledge of course!) has saved my life. Now in remission on my last HbA1C (UK, first test was 72 mil/mol 😮).

    So, just thank you.

  • @poppykitten6138 says:

We’ve become a society of constant eating.

  • @helenbandala6612 says:

When i do fasting, should i continue my diabetes meds like metformin, forxiga, gluconorm?

    • @changes649 says:

It depends on the type of fast you are doing and the medication you are taking. Always check your sugars and take your medication in your eating window.

  • @shanadellos6034 says:

If I’m attempting my first time 24 hour fast, can I include bone broth, teas, and electrolyte drinks and still ingest my vitamins? Worried I will be headachy or irritable or dehydrated. LOVE these videos and have your amazing Diabetes Code book!

  • @bravo1821 says:

I love intermittent fasting. I am on vacation right now. Guess what I am doing? Exactly I am doing intermittent fasting. It’s part of my dna now.
