It took 3 days for delivery for mine, no Prime. The device is awesome, I’m learning a lot on how my lifestyle affects my BG. I ate a small sweet potato for the first time in 5 years, BG spiked 50 points, even after eating a lot of protein and going for a 15 minute walk! My insulin works as expected, the BG dropped back to normal within an 90 minutes but I don’t like to see those BG spikes… sweet potatoes won’t be re-added to my diet.

You don’t need to push “as hard as you can”. Just be firm but ABSOLUTELY you must clean with rubbing alcohol. The over patch helps as well.
I have been wearing the stelo since Tuesday. It is very accurate. I ordered mine in a Sunday and it arrived on a Tuesday. I didn’t do a subscription, so I paid $99. I was not charged tax or shipping.
I have worn mine for 2 days. Love it! Going for Mexican food this weekend. 🤞🏽

Gm Dennis. Price and thar I can’t recalibrate it are the reasons I don’t care for it. But yes a good tool especially for people who don’t have a prescription or just want to know if not diabetic. Another good video. 🙏
As CGM devices become more popular, there’ll be vigorous market competition, and the price will fall. The same thing happened years ago with Mike the Meter. You can buy Mike now for a fraction of what it cost when first offered to the public without a prescription.

If you sleep on your side, that could be the reason your numbers drop at night.
I’m using the Dexcom G7 and that happens to me. I’m pre diabetic and after 3 months I’m rechecking my A1c and expecting great numbers!!!
I have read that pressure on these CGM sensors can give you a false low reading. So while sleeping, maybe pressure on the sensor gave Dennis a false low reading.
My Dexcom 7 did.
I can get Dexcom7s $35 for 3. Stelos are a subscription $85 a month for 2.
Is that with insurance? My insurance won’t cover

If sensor fails call dexcom they will replace for free they dine it for my dexcom 7
I just want yo say, Thank you Dennis for these videos. I ordered mine the day after I seen your first video about this monitor and it came the very next day!! I’ve been wearing it for a few days now and I love it!! No more sticking my fingers!! It seems to be pretty accurate, no issues so far…I was diagnosed with diabetes 2 years ago , and I Immediately started fasting and low carb I’ve lost almost 90 lbs and I’ve beat diabetes!!! I’m never going back …for me I started the subscription for $89 a month it’s a small price to pay for the peace of mind it gives me…again I say Thank you Dennis for all you do!!

Great news!. I have been using a CGM for the past six years. It helps me to wear it myself so I can teach my patients . So excited that it is OTC. It is incredibly affordable if you consider it might give you a few extra years of life for $100. Some of my patients come back after CGM and say we know you were right. The comment is made in regards to the foods that don’t cause spikes. Dr. Richard Bernstein told us what foods worked. He has been in practice long enough to see the CGM become widely available.
Back to the finances, the only warning is You might get “addicted “to wearing a CGM.
Excellent demo, libre 2 user here, has good features including average reading and gives the HbA1c (comparable to lab); in fact if you have the average glucose reading (mmol/L) you can calculate the AbA1c by adding 2.59, then divide by 1.59. Give it a try.
so lets say my average reading is 100 mg/dL, convert it to mmol/L that would be 5.6. So (5.6+2.59) / 1.59 would be 5.15. Did I do the math right?
In my opinion the libre 3 far superior and more accurate to the libre 2. Also it shows you the spikes in real time. No need for scanning throughout the day.
The freestyle Libre ones you call and they will replace, if it doesn’t stay on. You have to give a number on the box. Does DexCom prescription ones do that? Why don’t these have that?
