I have high BP 155/93 and don’t want to take medications. I heard that fasting can help and I also heard about people having success lowing their BP taking Krill oil. I don’t eat out, I only eat at home, healthy meals. I ordered the krill oil and began a 3 day fast on 9/1 which included stopping all supplements except for a small amount of liquid minerals and Himalayan salt in my water. On 9/4 I began intermittent fasting, eating only once a day, small meals at first and began taking the krill oil. On 9/10 my blood pressure began slowly dropping to 129/77 on 9/13 at which time I decided to start taking the supplements again. My BP rose to 141/83 the next day I continued in going up until I was at 155/93 again on 9/17. I had come across another video about vitamin supplements during that time. I stopped taking the Swanson vitamins again on 9/18 and my BP began slowly dropping to 127/73 on 10/2. No other changes. I was eating the same foods once daily.
It depends which supplement I’m taking but they contain magnesium stearate, which I’m surprised you didn’t mention. Also micro-crystaline cellulose, silica, stearic acid, crsoscarmellose sodium, calcium palmitate, pharmaceutical glaze, silicon dioxide, maltodextrin .
I could prove whether or not the supplements are causing the high blood pressure by waiting for a while and then taking them again but I’m not sure I want to do that.
I just stocked up on vitamins for the winter. Do I give him away or throw them away?
I am still taking the krill oil. It does contain, gelatin, glycerin and ethyl vanillin.
I reduced the amount of krill oil taken daily on 10/1 and will continue to monitor my BP.
I may try discontinuing the krill if my BP remains lower to determine if krill is lowering my BP or if it was the supplements raising my BP.
