Dr. Claire should talk to Melania Trump. I am sure that she would be very interested in taking up these “roadblocks” in women’s health & do something about it so that these things that you discussed as urgent needs can be made available much quicker for women.

  • @juysdeano says:

Astounding that obgyn specialists doesn’t have a specific curriculum for menapause

    • @chalenejohnson says:

      I couldn’t agree more!

    • @robinham2796 says:

      She pushes NAMS doctors,
Their curriculum is to push anti depressants and statins…
I don’t listen to Mary anymore after
Seeing a NAMS doctor and was never treated so badly in my 64
      Years of
      Life…she’s 33 already in anti depressants…

    • @4lb280 says:

PMS was only recognized in the 90’s. Women are still under served in the medical community. But it’s getting better.

  • @michellemitchell4420 says:

I joined phase it up and it has been a life changer. Thank you Chalene Johnson for your knowledge because I have done every diet and supplement. I have went to my Obgyn doctor and no one listens and no diet works. I did your 14 day challenge and I started weight lifting and eating more fiber and protein and my body definition is finally changing and I have energy with a better mood. So Huge thank you!

    • @chalenejohnson says:

Wonderful to hear! Most of us just need answers and a little bit of support! We got this! Best season ever

  • @maryla1558 says:

There is finally more information out here, good and not so good. When i was 45 couldn’t find any info. Now, at 51 the information is finally here and I’m here for it.

  • @diannstover9165 says:

I love strong over skinny. Ugh I wish that was my focus 30 yrs ago. Skinny. But not no more. I had ti head but my mindset changed 💯

  • @zara_theguccigirl1081 says:

A special thanks to you Chalene as well as for Dr. Marie Claire , the best interview ever. I’m 50 year old with the worst perimenopausal symptom ever, struggling with my weight , lot of health issues doing the OMAD fasting since 5 years a go but no success, depression, being married with the wrong person for 23 year who doesn’t even want to understand what’s going on with me, so basically and obviously I’m going through a divorce which is I believe it’s a relieve for me , AND I’m working so hard to build support for myself because I have no one to get help for this hard journey. Anyway, thank you GIRLS you’re such a lovely women .

    • @maureenstoddart4686 says:

Keep trudging, girlfriend…you are an inspiration. I got divorced after 23 years of marriage to the wrong person. It is always darkest before the dawn…things have to break down before you break through. You got this!!! Sending love, hugs and prayers 🥰🙏🦁

  • @chrisdownum4374 says:

MOST Practitioners are absolutely useless on this subject!

  • @chrisdownum4374 says:

Thank you for telling those of us who can’t or chose not to use HRT that it’s not the magic bullet and also providing us with alternatives.

    • @chrisdownum4374 says:

OMG, the last five minutes wherein she discusses that using vaginal creams will pretty much prevent septic UTIs in older women is gold! Shame the “F” out of the medical community for not making this widely known!

  • @K9Trix says:

Thank you so much for this helpful video! It is so sad that most practitioners are not up to date 🙁 Please make more perimenopause and menopause content!

  • @mcelweewife says:

Chalene your quads when yoi cross your legs is SO motivating. I have been working on my quads for a year and have seen improvement! You are where i want to BE. That muscle looks so healthy and ATTRACTIVE 💪😍🔥🔥🔥

  • @mico70 says:

Great, comprehensive information! At 53, someone who has taught fitness and trained women since 1993, someone who has followed and worked out with Chalene Johnson since Turbo Jam :), someone who eats well, stays active, takes supplements and weight trains…. i was NOT prepared for everything that had happened to my body. I am post menopausal. The struggle is real. Hormones play such a huge role! I am here for all of this information and kudos to anyone listening who hasnt begun the pre/pere menopausal process. LEARN FROM THIS BUT KNOW, YOUR BODY IS GOING TO CHANGE, BECOME INFLAMED AND IS NOT GOING TO COOPERATE. BUT AT LEAST U WILL UNDERSTAND WHY AND BE ABLE TO ADDRESS THE CHANGES FROM HERE!

    • @4lb280 says:

      Girl, isn’t that the truth!

    • @mico70 says:

@@4lb280 plus, let me add, I was fine in my 40’s. Lol. So much so that I thought I was one of the exceptions and not the rule. What I didn’t know, that I know now, was that before pere menopause, my body was still producing the right amount of hormones and other biological factors that were working on my behalf. I thought it was all me. Lol. When I turned 49, my body said… I can show you better than I can tell you… watch this! 😆 And it hasn’t been the same sense. I had my hormones tested at 51 and it was the best thing I could have done. Now I better understand what’s going on and it’s allowed me to give myself some grace

    • @chalenejohnson says:

OMG! Your message is so powerful and important! Many young women need to hear this. Hormones play such a huge role, and understanding this can help them navigate the changes better. Thank you for sharing your experience and wisdom!

  • @lisavolpe3269 says:

20:07 Great information, I intuitively found this is the 21:57 best way to eat, weight bearing exercise, and allow myself to rest when my body needs it. 61 better body, stronger, leaner better rested then I ever have been.

  • @neyisek6928 says:

SO grateful for the menopause knowledge movement. I’m 49. Menopause at 45.5. Started looking for answers to ?s/issues at 38. No help just more ?s& issues. 45 for 6 mo was rock bottom before I finally met a provider who helped. My mom died when I was 33 of everything cancer. I have never had a grandmother or aunt. There was no guidance. I knew hot flashes night sweats periods stop. End of story. I lost myself. My motivation my desire had brain fog sleep issues gi issues etc etc. I wish to save all younger than me from such issues & lack of understanding. THANK YOU for your work yo teach & provide help

  • @pamconlin-casarez7254 says:

Every woman is going to need a plan that works for her body and health. However, the one thing everyone needs is self control. We all know that the US over eats and loves fast food and junk food. I was one of those women who claimed to be a foodie and loved all the delicious things. I am 51 years old and have had autoimmune issues, cancer, chronic candida, terrible inflammation and bloating. I did every possible diet, exercised daily, and saw my body go through hell and pain because I had little self control with food and alcohol. I am 5’6” and my highest weight was 153 recently which blew my mind and I looked back at all my health and skin issues and decided I am done with this mess. I am sick of being sick. I am sick of the pain and struggling. I am sick of medicine and I refuse to take hormone replacement therapy or anything else. I did a ton of research and decided to go carnivore. It’s been about six weeks and I have zero bloating, minimal pain in my joints, my skin looks so much better, I have lost ten pounds so far, and I’m more focused. I walk 3 to 7 miles a day, use small weights at home and love my peloton. Ladies, take control of your life. Put the junk food down, quit the sugar, get up and move your body more than you sit. Stay active and focus on good health and feeling great, not looking like the instagram models, do it to look and feel your best for you! Blessings
