    1. Thanks to Gavin Newsom women in California won’t get better medical help for menopause. I have always had your “before” body. I think my body is called “skinny fat syndrome” and I’ve always had cellulite and by 13yo had stretch marks on my chest thighs and hips although I weighed only 96 pounds. I’ve never weighed over 130lbs and even ran 5 miles a day and still never got toned. Weight training is the only thing that works for my body.

  1. Level 45 on hrt. Took 3 doctors to find the one for me. Ironically enough midi is who I use. I love my patch

  2. i’m 49 and on HRT started early this year and feeling better – thanks to you because of your informations , thank you

  3. Level 51 and just started HRT. Already feel the difference! Agree with you on finding the right clinician. My GYN was completely dismissive. Tried MIDI and they did provide some support but were dismissive about getting a hormone panel done and the use of testosterone. I had to self advocate to get the blood panel done. It’s definitely a journey. Thanks for putting this information out there!

    1. That’s a bummer to hear about MIDI. Aren’t women’s health, hormonal balance, and hrt provision their specialty??

    1. It blows my mind how little training you all get on menopause, and women pay the price. Grateful for specialists like you who stay current and speak up.

    2. @c@chalenejohnson yes I had to go back on my own and learn all about it. I learned from amazing doctors like Mary Claire Haver, and Rachel Rubin and Kelly Casperson. Now I am helping women all across Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

  4. I just had a female provider tell me that I’m too young for perimenopause…I’m level 43. And the male provider I have seems to just think I’m being fussy and needy. I’m not on HRT, but I want to be.

    1. You’re not too young, and you’re not being fussy. Level 43 is right in the window when things start shifting. If your providers won’t take you seriously, it’s time to find one who actually understands women’s hormones. You deserve real answers.

    2. That’s our screwed up healthcare system… You need to find something better… As soon as I turned 40, I have been on HRT and I’m level 41 now and I’ve been on HRT for at least eight months .

  5. Level 61 and never talked to doctors about hormones But when I was 50 and my cycle ended I started having mild symptoms of hot flashes and brain fog and I used maca powder and it got rid of those symptoms. Fast forward to age 60 and I started having excessive crying and emotional sensitivity not even knowing it could be hormones. Now thanks to Reddit and finding another YouTuber who talks about this exact topic I’ve just in the past 3 months started using bioidentical progesterone cream. And I love it. I feel like I’m starting to even out now. I feel more emotionally content. Thank you for talking about this and being another voice for women!

  6. Im level 35 on HRT patches and progesterone (cycled). Had a partial hysterectomy due to almost cancer scare. Had the worst perimenopause symptoms. All symptoms improved one month on. Been 2 years now. Saw my gyne 2 weeks ago & was disrespectful for using HRT. Luckily i saw an endocrinologist to help treat me.

    1. 42 was when it really started for me. Then I hit 44 this year and I feel like I just started to break down. Started estradiol just a couple of months ago and already seeing positive changes. Hoping it continues!

  7. 72. I started HRT in my late 40’s and early 50’s but was scared off them by the studies. I have been back on them for over a year now. I was actually told the studies were faulty by my urologist who then wrote me a prescription.

  8. Level 68 in January and I started HRT at 67 and it’s GREAT!!!! Just since July bc of your help😘
    THANK YOU CHALENE
    Merry Christmas ❤🎄💚

  9. Level 36 and I am on HRT and feel soooo much better and before that I was struggling with symptoms of perimenopause and doctors told me that I am too young for that

  10. Im 54, & i suffered for the last decade…needlessly! Ugh!! Well, things r about 2 change! I have a MIDI appointment in 2 days & If HRT/BHT is good for me, IM ON IT!😂❤ thanks to this beautiful lady Chalene! Her content educated me on peri/menopause, which i knew barely anything about!!… and motivated me to be much more proactive in in my own “after party” 😂❤ stage of life. TY!!!
