Hmmm, I never had a uti even when my levels were. Over 400..

  • @brendahunter9134 says:

My husband, who is not diabetic, was having a UTI every single month like clockwork. Always running to medexpress to get antibiotics. Also many visits to the urologist who did all sorts of tests and had him on 2 meds to help empty the bladder and increase flow. It wasn’t until I, who am diabetic, went on keto and then keto/carnivore, and he joined me, the UTIs stopped! No Dr had ever recommended that he lower his carbs.

More frequent UTIs in woman than men is due to shorter urethra in women than men

Greetings from Ethiopia. That was very useful. Thank you, Dennis.

I know there’s a lot of things associated with high blood sugar but I didn’t connect UTI’s or frozen shoulder!! The most surprising diet connection for me has been with mental illnesses, but it makes so much sense considering the proliferation of mental illness these days!

Over 2 million without power in Texas, hope you still have power. Trying to get a carb addict to change is a really hard thing to do.

    • @anomarnamloh7444 says:

They don’t think they are addicted. Addiction is associated with drugs & alcohol. And if they are ones (we have all done this) who look down upon addicts calling them weak and immoral… then they can’t be addicted to carbs.

  • @gordianknot5625 says:

What I’ve heard is that in the early morning our adrenals pump out cortisol to deal with the stress that’s coming for the day. The cortisol instructs the liver to release glucose so that we are ready for action.
If you don’t get enough quality sleep or you are under a lot of pressure it will compound the problem.

  • @mariabenavides8587 says:

Donut, donut, sugar give u UTI

  • @williamberliant8145 says:

Diabetics can do without a lot of vitamin pills, but there is one vitamin that is absolutely essential, Vitamin P, patience. Low carb will do a fantastic job of reversing and eliminating diabetes. But how long does it take? God’s time.
