Dr. Bernstein is one of my personal diabetic heroes…Tight control over one’s blood sugar is key! His famous motto is “You have the right to normal blood sugar!”
Mary Tyler Moore had poor control over her blood sugar…She had extremes of both highs and lows regarding blood sugar most of her life, culminating in horrific health problems in later life! She chose not to have tight control over her blood sugar levels and paid a terrible health price!

  2. I am very tight with my blood sugar now, however – and I guess I was diabetic for so many years before diagnosis and my lifestyle changes that I still have terrible neuropathy in my toes. I’ve only been disciplined for a year so I am hoping for more improvement in them. But I have lowered my blood sugar from 12.2 last November to 5.5 a couple of weeks ago. And I’ve lost 87 pounds so far. I would like to lose 13 more so I can say I lost 100 : ) But if that doesn’t happen, I’m satisfied with my weight now.

  3. My son is an EMT. He said it is easy to bring down blood sugar, but if a patient has low blood sugar it is hard to bring it up. He also has hypoglycemia and the older he gets the harder it is to keep his blood sugar up. He doesn’t eat right. I’m trying to get him to watch your channel. He has a little too much knowledge of modern medicine . I won’t give up on him. Pray his eyes are opened before it’s too late.
