Sounds like you’ve got the beat!
I ate three slices of Jack’s pizza but ate a no sugar beef jerky first and did not eat the thick end.

“A sorta cheat” is a funny phrase…made me laugh! I never had a boiled peanut! After the “party”, blood sugar of 121; Good on ya, Dennis! AWWWW, sweet Benedicta…She’s a winner!

In Alabama they sell boiled peanuts everywhere even on the side of the road but I haven’t been to Alabama over 30 years
Thanks. Excellent!!!
Very good information, thank you!
You are so sweet with your beautiful wife. I myself try not to spike over 130. Thanks.

Extreame Wellness works for me too. That’s about the only commercial “bread like” product I buy any longer.
They work well as a noodle sub. in lasagna, as well.
I can eat a little watermelon. My once a year cheat is on my birthday at a curry restaurant that I have frequented for thirty years. If I eat the Lamb Korma and half the served rice I’ll spike 130. Though I’d love to eat Nan bread the cost is too high! When I forgo the rice and eat only the nan with the curry I spiked 145. I will then take at least 3 days to get back to baseline as I’ve stored so much Glycogen.
The way I see it. You have to be dilligent to beat diabieties. Denial of sweet things once cherished so common to our lives. But from this denial comes strength of conviction and poor habits melt from us like fat from the flesh. When the number on the bathroom scales brings a smile to your face and you can’t wait to see your next HBA1C you’ve got this devil by the tail. You deserve a bit of Watermelon!
