RECIPES:

The pizza crust has 5 ingredients: Psyllium husks, almond flour, Lupin flour, heavy whipping cream, and a single egg. Blend the egg in a bowl, then add 1 tbsp of almond flour, 1 tbsp of Lupin flour, and one tbsp of psyllium husks. Add 2 tbsp of heavy cream, and mix together. Place the mixture on a plate, or you can use round silicone baking mats, like I do, and then microwave for around 90 seconds. Peal the crust off the mats, and then start adding your pizza ingredients. Start with a light coating of pizza sauce, or any lower carb tomato sauce. Then add cheese, some kind of meat, and other items. In this case I used black olives, and some spinach. Often, I like to use green pepper slices. Then I coat it again with a layer of shredded cheese and put it in an oven pre-heated to around 450 degrees for 12 minutes. And voila, you have a nice little personal pizza that tastes just like… well pizza.

Making the ice cream is the very definition of simplicity – just 3 ingredients: heavy whipping cream, allulose, and around 2 tbsp of vanilla extract. I use 1 pint of the heavy whipping cream, 7 tbsp of allulose, which helps the ice cream to stay softer in your freezer. With other sweeteners it will freeze like a brick. Blend the three ingredients together in a fairly large bowl with a hand mixer for as long as it takes, usually around five minutes, and you have a low carb version of ice cream. Then put it in the freezer and take it out when you need it.

I LOVE potatoes and would eat them if I could…but I can’t. Ditto quinoa.

  • @jaybingham2731 says:

My body needs a minimum of about 100 grams of Carbs per day…or about 33 grams per meal. If I go lower than that, I lose too much weight. I just can’t stop losing weight on a low Carb diet. It took me almost 2 years to figure this out with the help of my doctor.

  • @wjack4728 says:

That’s amazing! Going to have to start making pizza like you do. My diabetes has gotten almost out of control, so I appreciate your work.

    • @nancyballard8666 says:

Your body is amazing. It needs some tender loving care right now. Respect your body by using your glucose meter to see how YOUR body reacts to foods and learn what foods you can eat to love your body. Don’t eat to love food. You can do this!

  • @deborahjanik1116 says:

I thought the same as your wife ( just kidding)😂😂 but I really appreciate you for debunking the eat healthy by eating

  • @juanvaldes1837 says:

Unfortunatly all the pizza chains put a good amount of sugar in the sauce as well as the bread. The way you make it is fantastic
