Can you do a review on vibration plates? The things you can stand on and squat or put hands on to do push ups… or just stand on for circulation and lymph drainage . I am seeing these all over the place, and I want to know if it’s a gimmick or helpful.. and I know YOU will tell the truth !!! I love love your shows! You are so funny and informative!

    • @chalenejohnson says:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my lifepro vibration plate!!! I actually bought the lifepro rumblex 4D pro and use it every single night before bed. Sometimes I just stand on it and do light stretching, I also do the light smacking of the skin up and down my body & I do my squats on it too! Not sure if it’s a gimmick but I feel it’s been very helpful in my health journey!

    • @HappinessIsKontagious says:

I have to tell ya… my sleep has improved dramatically since I stopped drinking alcohol. Like I had 8 bad nights in August (quit drinking in Sept) and had only one bad night in October! ❤🎉 Thanks to you and Dr Huberman!

  • @silvereli says:

Thanks again for this wonderful video. 🤗
I like the way you act and speak about certain things.
    *Simply delicious.* 😁

I’ve been thinking for some time 🤔 how to write about this…

I learned when I was a child (now 58) what was good for me and how I slept best.
(I have NEVER drank btw and have NEVER smoked.)

Then as now, as soon as my head hits the pillow, I’m already asleep.
(My daughter has this too, by the way.)

I don’t take pills, my room is cold (never turn on the heat), pitch black, but what is important to ME *my bed linen and nightwear.*
I only sleep with nice and beautiful 😍 bed linen etc.
    There’s no arguing about taste.
    *I* have to like it.
    Then everything is ok. 👍🏼

ALSO, I (of course) have to be calm and balanced mentally.
Which I am, because after a certain time I stop looking at my cell phone.
At 10:00 pm it automatically switches to night mode and switches on again at 8:00 in the morning.

And that’s totally fine and works for me!!! 😊

…& hugs from Cologne, Germany. 🤗🤗🤗

Such a good video Chalene❤. Thank you for renewing your discount code for the castor oil. I am almost done with the first order.
The statistics re. sleep deprivation is staggering! Thank for putting so much of your time making this video. I will start slow with putting my phone away 30 min before going to bed and gradually increase to 1 hour.

  • @annettemartinez4063 says:

Loved this video!!! I’m going to commit to my sleep! Thanks Chalene! ❤

  • @cherob2182 says:

This has really helped me. I’m 62,and get no sleep. Due to cervical cancer in 2003 and then breast cancer in 2023 my sleep sucks. I’m on hormone blockers so I don’t know what there is to help me in that respect. There are other things I can work on. I sure do miss estrogen!!! 😞

  • @janenuss6 says:

Excellent video! Love all the expert sources too. Thank you, Chalene ❤

I have had insomnia for 18 yrs, since menopause. I take CBD/ THC. Without it I don’t sleep at all:(

  • @Zinnie988 says:

Brahmi and ashwagandha combo will help to sleep and great recall and memory upon rest (night). Gotu kola taken in the morning helps with alertness and information study and absorbsion ( morning). Cycle on cycle off.😊

  • @passionatesingle says:

Ladies please try a weighted blanket too!! It has changed my sleep tremendously. I took magnesium and melatonin before but didn’t notice much of an improvement until I added the weighted blanket to the mixture and now my sleep is so much better. It might not be for everyone but please give it a go. You might be surprised.

  • @tasplund3397 says:

I’ll be 60 in December and have a 6 year old daughter a dog and two indoor one indoor/outdoor cats and a husband. I sleep great if they all don’t bother me! lol, but inevitably one (or two)of them snores, or needs my attention. After starting HRT it’s been a game changer for me. I’m always cold so 64* sounds horrific but I do try to keep crisp sheets and a good “bubble eyed” sleep mask. For me, the bubble eyed mask makes a HUGE difference because it doesn’t squish your eyelashes and for anyone who’s claustrophobic like me it helps to not feel so confined. Magnesium glycinate has also helped. I definitely need to start taking my supplements earlier so I don’t have to get up to go potty at night. Although for me it’s about the same time my little gets up to potty so it works out great. I’ve also had a big increase in energy and feeling myself since I got results back and began taking testosterone along with estrogen and progesterone. I began Reveree as well as vaginal estrogen and can I just say…. Game Changer! I send all Charlene’s videos to my older daughters who are 42 and 35 and I will be educating them on perimenopause and menopause like I educated them on their periods years before they had it. “ Knowing is half the battle!” ❤

  • @AtreyusLove says:
