  1. Making bread with stone ground flour is a bit of a challenge. I have found I need to pay more attention when I make that bread and a sourdough helps. The stoneground bread does help with my satiety and loosing weight and especially is a nutty satisfy bread and toast. ❤

    1. When I use to bake bread with stone ground flour after years I finally figured it out. Used more water. The dough should be tacky. I would knead it in my mixer longer as well. Worked way better. My bread looked like bread should and rose well. Instead of like “bricks”

  3. African in Tanzania and Kenya from villages, eat Ugali using maize flour cooked in water as a dough eaten with vegetable every day. It is their main meal. The flour is stone grounded. They don’t gain weight and no diabetes. They walk a lot too .

  4. Eat lots & lots of vegetables, fruit, berries, potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, Whole cooked grains & whole grain pasta, beans, peas, lentils, corn. These are whole carb foods.
