New studies are flipping the script on creatine 💥
Turns out it’s not just for muscle gains. This stuff boosts cognition, supports bone density, and even helps with brain fog (especially in women).
Are we seriously just now talking about this?! 👀

  1. I can’t take more than a couple grams a day. I found out back in the 2000s it impacted the brain. If I take 3 or more grams a day I can’t sleep, it makes my mind race like crazy. So it definitely impacts the brain, but be careful, maybe slowly introduce more daily to make sure it doesn’t make you turn manic for a couple days like it does to me if I take more than just a couple grams.

    1. Oh I’m glad you commented about it effecting your sleep. I have enough trouble shutting my brain off at night. I certainly don’t need anything to impact my sleep efforts. Currently I only take 5mg and that is in the morning. I’m ok for now.

    2. me too! I had a lot of anxiety taking it during a busy time in life. I stopped and felt okay again. I am going to try again and see if I have same reaction taking it different time of day or during a less stressful time.

  2. My son ended up in the ICU from taking creatine. He was so dehydrated and even developed some kidney stones bc of it. Def not good for everyone to use especially at that dose

    1. Well, that’s a bummer however… While creatine users with a *history of kidney stones are advised to monitor their condition* with the guidance of a professional specialist, *there has been no evidence to date to believe that creatine can cause kidney stones.*

    2. @@DangerZone-w6yMy son is 21 and never had a kidney stone before or any kidney issues until he used creatine. His doctor told him it was the creatine that caused this. He was very sick and was in the ICU for 4 days

  3. Please be careful. Not everyone’s stomach can handle huge doses. I had to start with a lower amount. Cheers!

    1. Dude… I don’t know why the experts aren’t cautioning people on this part!!! People are going to be 💩ing their pants everywhere…

  4. I started on about 2.5 g a day about a month ago and am going to slowly increase
I know my body and need to take things like this slow. I would love improved brain function, though. Peri is no joke when it comes to brain fog.

  5. I think we need to have people talking about how to cycle on and off. Because it’s actually detrimental to take high doses for long periods of time and can have severe withdrawal symptoms, and I think we’re so caught up in the benefits, which are substantial, I am not hearing much about how to safely take higher doses while not overdoing it
