POWERFUL POINT: If you truly want to know the truth, Mike the Meter is the only way to go! MALARKY: Keto bread spiked to 178…Wow! But, but the whole wheat bread spiked to 200…another Wow! Avoid both in my opinion!

    1. I used to eat those with no problems. Recently though I noticed they now spike my blood sugars. I don’t know if they changed something or maybe my own body changed which I heard can happen. I am type 2 diabetic and have been for about 4 years

    2. I stopped eating those around two years ago. It does spike my levels. Also, I saw a video last week where someone tested low carb Mission tortillas and the results were the same as regular tortillas…high

  2. I just ate two slices of that Nature’s Own Keto bread. Blood glucose at +30 minutes was up 5mg/dL to 100mg/dL. You really can’t conclude anything from testing unless the food sample is blinded against placebo.

  3. Why do three slices of each when the recommended serving size is one slice…of both I would imagine?

  4. I found 2 store bought brands of tortillas that do not spike me. one is Ole brand. the other Mr Tortilla. Unfortunately they closed down last year.

  5. Beware of the choc zero choc and vanilla chips too. My sister said they were yummy and after spending a lot on them. They spike my blood sugar really bad. I think it’s the corn fiber cz I can eat Lilly’s l. I wear a CGM and that’s the only way to see how u r affected by certain foods. The keto bread is def junk too
