  2. Our iron-clad rules are our hedge of safety; not our prison. Make a list of Type 2 diabetes complications and pull it out and read it when you want to eat a sugary or starchy food.

    Elizabeth Millard, author, states that there is no one-size solution to resolving diabetes. Per Dennis, there is folly in that statement. Dennis believes that there are iron-clad rules: Don’t run from the bear🤣! Having iron-clad restrictions when referencing diabetes and diet (intermittent fasting, no sugar and low carb) can be the difference between beating this disease or not!

  5. After all these years, trying out different diabetes medicine I have finally found something that lowers mine and that is digestive enzymes. I take one right before I eat, and I can eat almost anything and my blood sugar does not have a big spike.

  6. I find having iron-clad rules helps me to a peaceful life. High carb (and even moderate carb) foods have simply ceased to exist for me, as have most aisles in the supermarket, and anything that comes in a packet. So much decision-making and brain effort saved!

  7. Here is the law I follow. It was taught to me by my Dad, so many years ago, as he was passing with terrible diabetes and heart problems. He said, “If you want to be a success, do what successful people do.” I was in critical shape at the age of 72, but I found this Beat Diabetes Channel. How did I get my A1c from 11 medicated to 4.9 no meds? How did I lose 230 pounds? How did I lose 27 inches in my waist? How did I correct kidney failure? I did what Dennis does. That was my iron clad rule. Now at 79, I feel fantastic and have unlimited energy. Thank you Ben & Den.
