Heavy lifter here with Caroline Girvan’s videos and I take Creatine on a daily basis….huge difference all around….especially with muscle recovery and strength. ❤

  • @armstronglien2659 says:

I’ve been taking creatine for about 2 years now and darn I didn’t know the hot beverage interference! Won’t take it with hot coffee anyone. Thanks Chalene!

  • @carolannN9712 says:

I avoided creatine for a while because of the bloat myth. It was the cognitive and bone preserving benefits that finally swayed me last year. Started with 3g and eventually worked up to 5. I am stronger and healthier than ever at age 45.

  • @lafemmevocale1040 says:

Hi Chalene, new subscriber here, Finally a beauty/wellness specialist who brings receipts and has the smart/funny/real vibe! You remind me of Cher🧡 No BS, you’re confident & so relatable. I’m buying creatine today!

  • @traxmom says:

JJ Virgin just did a podcast on the HCl version of creatine which sounds like it eliminates the bloating issue. It’s also more effective at a much lower dose which means you can take a capsule or two rather than needing 2-3 scoops of monohydrate powder. I haven’t tried it yet, but I plan to because I’ve definitely been feeling bloaty on the monohydrate.

    • @tristan1220 says:

I heard the same thing from my son who happens to be a physical therapist and personal trainer. I’m going to start taking it because I’m definitely losing muscle tone and strength even though I exercise 5 days week

  • @marievlachos103 says:

I foster as well been doing it for years and all my friends ask why I don’t keep them and it’s exactly what you said if I adopt I won’t foster anymore and it’s more important for me to be able to foster. Every time they go to living and deserving families! So please keep on fostering! You’re doing so much good by getting the word out there for these dogs!

  • @coredadventure1 says:

Hi Chalene! Thank you for another great video! I started taking creatine a month and a half ago due to one of your videos! I didn’t even really know about creatine and I’ve been working out pretty much every day since I was 13 years old and I’m going to be 54 soon! I’m glad you said in this video it takes 25 to 30 days to really get into your system . So that is really important to know! Anyways , love your videos and thank you ❤

  • @anye76 says:

New user of creatine here, 45 days in. If I miss 2 consecutive days of not taking creatine, my obnoxious perimenopause brain comes back😬😳🤯. I’ve notice nothing body composition wise, yet. The sustained energy and sharpness of mind is enough to keep me using it!

  • @meditationgodsway1834 says:

I’m 68😮 and I’ve been taking Creatine since last spring, and I have muscles like I’ve never had before! I love it!
I told my daughter about it, she’s 42, and starting perimenopause, and she started it last week. She was having to come home from work and take a nap before finishing the day. She hasn’t taken a nap since day one of starting Creatine. She feels so good, and so do I. When I wake up in the morning I look forward to taking it!
Also, I never had any bloating or any side effects. I started with monohydrate, and now I’m taking HCL.
I noticed a big difference when I switched over to the HCL.
So sorry to hear about your father in law. My mother in law passed from Alzheimer’s. It’s the worst thing to have to go through!

    • @binathere2574 says:

What differences did you notice, please?

    • @meditationgodsway1834 says:

@binathere2574 – Besides the muscle definition, I have really good energy. Even if I don’t have a good night sleep, I’m up and ready to go. Even my husband noticed and he’s starting to take it.
      I also have clearer thinking.

  • @mamalovesthebeach437 says:

I’m 69 and was just diagnosed with osteoporosis. I had a knee injury while body boarding and recently a wrist fracture from an ice-skating fall. So after almost 30 years of no scan, I went in for a DEXA scan. I was horrified at my numbers. I stopped my daily beach walks in the throes of Covid. I stopped our mountain, biking several times a week after my knee injuries. And I stopped body boarding. I have a walking pad, I use a standing desk, and I wear a weight vest. But I’ve done no lifting for many years. Now, I’m scrambling. I have just started gently lifting (it’s been six weeks since my wrist fracture). I’ve avoided creatine because I thought it was pointless unless I was lifting heavy. I started today! I’ll start with 3 g and work my way up. I bought the brand Coadage a few months back and it’s been sitting on my shelf. Thank you so much Chalene for always doing the research and keeping us updated. I love you, I mean that!❤

  • @j.c.7555 says:

I am really sorry you and your husband are going thru the difficulty and sadness with a loved one diagnosed withAlzheimer’s disease.

Thank you for all your info on Creatine…it was very thorough and helpful..❤

  • @sonjacroft3016 says:

I started creatine daily, 5 grams, about 4 months ago. I have noticed more energy with my workout, more clarity, better recovery. I’m slowly increasing my weights. Started with 15 lb dumbbells and now up to 25 lbs. also trying to lift (full body) 3 days a week instead of 2. I add the powder to my morning coffee. Tasteless, easy!! I love it!! So many benefits!!! YAY!!! Thanks Chalene!! Love the work you’re doing for us ladies!

  • @CHARSCREATEINCOMPANY says:

Hi Chalene! I started using Creatine for brain health and keep the muscle I have about a year ago. I was afraid to before that until I read about it’s other benefits. I’m a work in progress. I also got my 87 year young mother on it and she’s doing great and just ordered her 3rd container. Amazing!

  • @shelbykbeauty2 says:

I took creatine 4 months ago and then about 2 months in my hair started thinning. So i stopped. That is the only thing i added to my life. I know a couple other people who have seen this happen. Just can’t afford to loose hair:)

    • @ipolokov says:

What month was it that the hair loss occured? August? Many hair-regrowth-endeavor studies situate their BEFORE data to August so the differential with the AFTER is more significant – naturally.

  • @Sunshine33333 says:

Wow Chalene, I literally cried when you were talking about being a caregiver. I am 62 years old and worked out religiously for years alongside my husband who stared out being my personal trainer. I was so happy with my overall condition, my body, my diet etc. Over the past several years, my husbands health has taken its toll, he has peripheral neuropathy and it has completely taken over our lives, I am now a full time caregiver. We do not have friends and family to help us out and now I had to stop exercising completely. My focus of every day is to take care of him, get him to appointments, etc. I have been caught in such a depression and do not see any way out in my near future so thank you for recognizing the caregivers out there, they are often unrecognized. I love to watch your content and appreciate all of your tips. Blessings to you Chalene, you look beautiful!

Got me out of my funk. Fast forward to now I have two beautiful boys and married my wonderful husband. I now lost my father 5 years ago. Who’s was our families rock. Well, I’m my mothers caregiver and I am just so over with that. I’m currently trying to get my health back and feel good again.

Praying for your husband. And for you. It’s one of the hardest challenges I’ve yet faced.

Stay positive, Jesus loves you all
