Yes, absolutely. That’s why scholars and people who were educated before were held in high regards, in more prestigious positions. Think about how we grew up, the smarter you were, the more utility you have, the more rewards you got, the higher in the class you were. Yes, it was.

Yes, but how consumed are we with consuming, without taking any action at all. You can learn more from doing than anything else.
@patflynn information inundation is a form of mental greed. As a society we have had it so ingrained in us that “more is better”. In this case not so much. But I agree. “Learn by doing” is superior than working purely on theory alone.
