I just got a stelos CGM. Its reading about 10 points lower than my stick meter. Has anyone had experience with Stelos accuracy?

    • @TerryAvis-d5z says:

Yes, but I’ve decided to use it anyway. I need to see my spikes in my glucose levels. Even though it does not match your glucose meter 100%. It can be a good tool especially if you try new foods. You still need to use your glucose meter. Mike the meter is still your friend. But Stelio lets you see the spikes occurring.

Dear Denis I am 80 plus from Bangladesh and have been diabetic for over 25 years now. You are a great communicator and I have been usefully following your advice for some years. Thank you for the helpful guidance you have provided to me during this time. Besides let me tell you that I learn English from you! God bless you always! MM

You may show that you’ve “reversed ” diabetes but have you? More than likely not. Why? Because you haven’t become insulin sensitive but have remained insulin resistant. Eating low to no carbs and high fat is not good, especially over a long period. This will create other health issues.
So, the best approach is to become insulin sensitive again and you accomplish that by eating a wholefood diet. Intermittent fasting is also a tool you can incorporate into your reversal goals.
Keto is not healthy long term. A diet of complex carbs, fruit, vegetables, nuts, and seeds is healthy.
Consult your Dr. Do your research and move in a direction of better, longer, sustainable health.❤

I expect more respect for Dennis. See if you can re-write this. I would never personally go back to complex carbs after the mental and physical joy of very low carb while eating all the proteins and fats I want. I don’t take blood-sugar readings but all I know is that I feel great. Maybe you could say how exercise fits into your plan.

I think you don’t know what low carb is. Listen to his YouTube and educate yourself first. Dennis is awesome in teaching what he has done. Always consult a physician you trust before attempting any drastic lifestyle change.

Thank you for your excellent posts.

I watch all of your videos, especially like those where you and your wife test foods! Curious what you think of The Glucose Goddesses’ recs (she has a YT channel) to stabilize glucose -things like start a meal with a veggie starter and consuming vinegar with sweet/hight-carb foods to help prevent a glucose spikes.
