Let’s go!!!!
Love OMAD —been doing it about 3 months now-feel amazing ❣️
Omad is amazing… don’t stop
I love OMAD and I often just skip a day. I love using the aeria bone broth with Celtic salt on those days. It’s so comforting 😊
I really appreciate you Dr. Fung! You changed my life, and I recommend you to many. Thank you for all that you teach about fasting and health. God bless you abundantly.
But in your group on Facebook (fasting method) you guys don’t recommend omad 🤔 that’s confusing
Dr Fang has always recommended OMAd. In fact i first heard about OMAD from him 6 years ago
How do you keep from losing muscle?
Your body generates extra growth hormones in a fasted state to help compensate. Significant muscle loss is more for cases where people are suffering from true starvation and have no body fat to provide energy. Basically, don’t worry about it.
@brianhoch1269 if you keep using your muscles while fasting the body will not be inclined to use them for fuel.
The natural response is to get rid of what isn’t used and protect what is in use.
@HoldsYouInCheck for people over 50 any muscle loss is significant. It’s also harder to retain and build. Telling someone to not worry about it isn’t helpful, it’s dismissive.
@pursuehealth940you can pontificate all you want, but if you’re on YouTube seeking medical advice not everyone is going to qualify every edge case scenario for you. I can just as easily dismiss what you say by suggesting anyone with questions should actually talk to their own doctor.
Been watching your videos and decided to fast to melt my belly fat since no diet was working.Doing OMAD for a week and it’s a game changer for me as a PCOS menopausal woman!!!
You literally saved my life!!!
I can’t thank you enough keep educating us ❣️
Tanks for the video. Can you give your opinion on dry fast? 😊
What do you eat for the modified fast?
How often do you one meal a day in a week? Everyday?
I used to do OMAD too…for almost 4 years. But recently I started weight training and optimum nutrition became a challenge with OMAD (specially aiming for 120-130 grams of protein (I weigh 73 KG). I want the benefits of fasting but dont want to lose muscles or go low on protein.. For now I have moved to 2 meals a day (16-hour fasting) plus a protein shake during the feeding window…
I am in my 60s. I fast 3 days a week. Fasting teaches self control. U r in charge. Be your body boss.
I do rolling fasts now… eat one day and might water fast 2-7 days in a row… and repeat. Iv lost so much weight
I love OMAD because I thrive on routine, however it did not get me to where I want to be. I reached a good weight doing ADF/3 42’s MWF, however, I’m struggling due to job stress and put back 25 of the 60lbs I lost. I’m going back to OMAD starting Monday and hoping it’s enough to get the 25lbs off. I love the routine though of it but know I need to keep my body guessing! Perhaps a 42hr during the week would help! Do you suggest limiting the eating OMAD window to an hour or 1-1/2hr? You are a life-saver/changer!!!
He started Ozempic! 😂😂
I have been your follower since 2019. Thank you for your great work and being an advocate of true wellness.
