For people on Type 2, I’ve been on Med’s (Metformin for over 6 years), number of pills went up consistently and no control over my sugar levels.
I’ve made the change to a low carb sustainable lifestyle and I’ve got my 10.9 HbA1C to 5.7 in 5 months.

  • Sandra DuFault says:

I thank god everyday for helping me stay away from rice , beans , pasta , bread, potatoes , and flour , and all high carbs foods , i’ve been diabetic for about 20 years , and the last 6 months watching mostly your videos , i was able to loose about 40 pounds and i’m almost off the insulin . Thank you …

  • Cheyenne Hunter says:

I was prediabetic, so I went strict carnivore. I lost 40 lbs and staved off the diabetes. I now eat a keto diet and have probably added 20 yrs to my life. Love you Dennis and Benedicta ❤😊

    • Beat Diabetes! says:

      Wonderful! God bless you, Cheyenne!

    • Brenda Hunter says:

How long did it take you to lose that much?

    • Tone Tone76 says:

@Beat Diabetes! Hey. What’s a normal glucose level for non diabetic and a pre diabetic? Is a blood glucose level of 138 two hours after a meal normal or an indication of prediabetes?

    • pspcraft says:

I too, was prediabetic. I cut out sodas, sugar, as much carbs as possible; bread, chips, potatoes, rice, etc… My blood work testing resulted in a normal range, and no longer prediabetic. Unfortunately, after my wonderful results, I returned to eating poorly. Starting over – I am trying to eat the right way.

  • Dan Waters says:

Yes, sustainability is the name of the game! Thank you, Dennis for the ideas! Much better than T2D, increased risk of stroke, heart disease, dementia, liver and pancreas problems and much more. Makes sense to me! Great reminder before the holidays!

  • Durga Bhawanee says:

Thanks for continuing the effort to point out the good guys and the bad guys to diabetics who want to reduce BG and reverse T2D naturally. I have been watching you, along with a few others, for the last 10 months or so (soon after returning home from the hospital). After faithfully following a Keto/low carb diet plan for about 10 months, my fasting BG is beautifully down–was 87 when I checked it yesterday!! I did it without medication/s. A diet that makes us diabetic is being forced upon the entire world now, and younger and younger people are becoming pre or full blown diabetics. All we can do is pray that your message, and the message of people like Dr. Sten Ekberg, Dr. Jason Fung, and Dr. Eric Berg reach these people on time. What they need, most of all, is the will power to do what is right for them.

Good afternoon, can you please help me with some advice on how to keep my sugar level under control? I have been suffering from type 2 diabetes since 2020, I couldn’t keep it under control my sugar level is 14.2 as at this morning please help your brother out. I will be expecting your reply thank you.

  • Charles says:

    Bravo Dennis 👏

If all diabetics and pre diabetics applied this, imagine how we could turn the tide of general health in our society. Pharmaceutical companies would go out of business, our health insurance premiums would PLUMMET, and our hospitals would barely have any sick patients. Processed food companies would have to reform. Great concept but bad for the business world! They’d rather keep making money creating a sick society!

  • CK 888 says:

I have officially reversed my diabetes according to my GP (UK doctor), I used low carbs and keto leaning diets, watching this channel also has helped tremendously. However the Doctor said that my cholesterol was too high, I have lost 40 percent of my weight and I’m super lean with a very active lifestyle.

    • Sarah Strong says:

A lettuce, tomato, & cucumber salad is not very sustaining but if you add red cabbage, sweetheart cabbage, carrots & radishes it makes it more so.

    • Dilhani Fernando. says:

Hello , can you describe how did you do this?

    • David Barry says:

Don’t worry about cholesterol, high blood sugar is much worse, went off cholesterol meds 12 years ago still here,.

  • Sparty63 says:

Love the information you present. I am insulin resistant. I was wondering if you ever compared glucose response of whole wheat bread versus yeast free sourdough bread?

  • A. GM says:

I always appreciate how straightforward and firm you are with us. You tell it like it is, and debunk the nonsense. Keep up the good work Brother and Sister!

  • Astro Cross says:

When I became a diabetic you were one of the first that I came across and you help me tremendously God bless you for having a channel to give knowledge to people about the disease and that we don’t need medication all we need is to change your diet not everyone can meet carbs thank you Dennis:)))))

  • Andrew Roberts says:

Another great video Denis, I found you on YouTube a couple of years ago, you gave me the knowledge and belief to be able to reverse my diabetes, I went from having h A1C of 68 to 33 after three months. It remained in the 30’s but my blood review last month showed an increase. I put this down to being in COVID lock down and the stress this caused, I got complacent, and fell off the low carb wagon! The good news is I know I can, with a little effort turn it around again.
I look at this as good thing, as it has made me focus on my health again.
Keep up the good work Sir.

Great video. One of my favorite diners is salmon, with sliced zucchini yellow squash and broccoli. Cauliflower rice on the side. It’s easy and dinner is done in less than 20 minutes. Thanks Dennis for your inspiring words.

  • Rad c says:

In my opinion this gentleman is way more knowledgeable than most MD’s that push nothing but medications. You are saving lives my friend and doing God’s work!!!

  • Matthew Salomone says:

I’ve followed your advice and my A1C was down from 11 to 5.7.

  • You Can says:

Thanks for this video. You are very right about banana.I was diagnosed of Diabetes in December, i watched several videos on how to reverse Diabetes. I had great news from the doctor as i reversed it in March 2022. During the time i had diabetes, i noticed anytime i had banana, my blood sugar goes very high and takes some days for it to go down.In summary, i was able to reverse my diabetes by doing intermittent fasting, and Mediterranean diet ,and everyday exercise ( fast walking 30 mins) .I hope this helps someone too.

  • S F says:

Thank you Denis for this video. I need it as I commit to starting over after Easter “collapse”. But I know there is no way over this sugar/carb addiction but through it with the Lord and all the wisdom that He has give you and others.Thank you for the scripture at the end because I have been running from God also (and running to sugar: admission/confession). The scripture at the end really touched a deep spot in me… it was answering the place of anxiety in the child-me, where I lacked parental support and that contributed to my seeking comfort in sugar… Thank you Lord for you help and grace to take the necessary steps. Thank you Denis for the patience and kindness in your nature that is so continually encouraging. Warm regards. G Ire

  • Julie C says:

A year ago my blood work showed for the first time that my blood sugar was creeping upwards. So I changed over to a keto type diet. I’ve always been a walker but had also kinda of gotten more sedentary. I was headed for disaster. Now I’ve lost 42 pounds and walk 4-5 times a week. Just recently got my blood work done and everything looks fine. I don’t feel cheated at all because there are endless substitutions to choose from like you said. And I rarely have any cravings which is a miracle. Thank you for your video!

  • Milagros Perez says:

A year ago I was diagnosed with Diabetes after being sedentary and gaining weight during the Covid lock down. I began to see your videos and began to learn that it could be reverse. One video that caught my attention talked about starving diabetes, just like you would an angry beast that comes to attack you. I changed my diet, lost around 30 pounds by simply eating less carbs and more protein. The pounds just sheded off as a by-product of the diet change, I did not have to struggle to lose them. Thank you for all the information that I learned from your videos. Today I was given the great news from my doctor that my test results shows that I no longer have diabetes . The doctor said that I reverted to pre diabetes to continue doing what I’ve being doing so far. I got rid of pasta, rice, potatoes and regular bread. I now eat coliflor rice, sugar free bread. More protein and less carbs. Thank you. You have been God send. God bless.

    • Tony says:

You have diabetes still, it’s just in for ent. There’s no such thing as reversing diabetes. If you go back to your old ways, the symptoms will come back.

    • Jeanette Jamison says:

Keep telling your Truth. You have mastered your body by information knowledge and now totally healed. 👌

    • Amela Papan says:

Thats really great. I have been trying to do the same.

  • Jody Ariewitz says:

I tried a keto vegetarian diet and immediately lost the 40 stubborn pounds I had been carrying around since menopause! I’m 52 and I weigh what I did in high school now, with non of the brain fog, depression I had been experiencing and I have SO much energy now! I’ll NEVER go back to eating the way I was eating!❤✌❤

  • Tam says:

You are absolutely right. I’m about to turn 60. I ve exercised and eat what i thought was healthy. I barely weight 115 lbs but unfortunately became pre diabetic from eating mostly “fruits” almost all my life. I’m now experiencing all kinds of acges/pains from the inflammation which I believe to derived from fruits. I m determined to change my eating habits and get rid off all meds by my bday in Nov. Thank you for sharing your wisdom Sir.
