  • @colleenbaptiste98 says:

My Great grandmother lived to over 100 years, my grand mother 99 years, my uncle just died 94 years I’ve got another uncle in his 90’s they ate what they liked, but not much “junk” and were very active, no diabetes, the diabetes came from my grand father.
For me health without much medication is the best option.
    Blessings Dennis ❤

My great Grandmother lived to 102 and while she ate everything, she never was a big eater. She ate meat and would admonish us for being fussy as she ate all the organ meats (kidney, tripe, heart, etc) and never ate much “muck”, which was any sweets, or “fancy” food. She passed away, having told everyone she was a little tired and was just having a short nap before afternoon tea.

Most of my family live into their mid 90’s. I am positive they all would have had a better quality of life had they eaten low carb. It just wasn’t a thing back then.

  • @petercyr3508 says:

Dennis, you seem to have exceptional insulin sensitivity and unless God calls you or you stop eating correctly, you better have a big 401K!

Dennis’ takeaway regarding longevity: “It’s not so much what you eat, it’s what you don’t eat!”
❣️ My mom lived until the age of 97. She gave birth to my sister and I, then, never went to a doctor again until she was in her 90’s. She was afraid to drive, so as a child when my dad was not available, she walked or took the “yellow cab” everywhere. The kitchen was her “happy place.” She loved to cook and made multiple meals daily (many foods from scratch), cut an aspirin into quarters as she was afraid of over-the-counter medication, and was the postal card for kindness, joy, vibrancy and good health most of her life (until her 90’s).
I was honored to have her as my mom! I believe
I am a non-diabetic because of her, and for that, I am eternally grateful! ❣️

  • @oldroscoe2590 says:

Mom was pretty much a vegetarian and lived to 97 BUT she had senility for the last 10 years and spent her last 5 years in the nursing home.
