Give up sugar, Give up bread products, Eat more salads as a side, Weightloss will make a difference, Give up potatoes for diabetics, Give sweet fruits, rice and quinoa, Employ time restricted eating (no snacks between meals), Give up sugary drinks, Meals lean heavy on meat and fats, Give up breakfast cereal altogether

Do you see anyone doing this diet that see increase in ldl cholesterol and high blood pressure even when it was fine before?
Yes. I cut back on eating a lot of processed fatty cholesterol laden foods.

My eating time window is 11 am & no later than 6 pm. I go to bed early. I’ve noticed a lower morning glucose reading when I eat my last meal at least 3 hrs before I retire.
Sometimes people have both insulin resistance and t2d, you have to address both to lose weight
I reversed my prediabetes to a normal A1C by mainly cutting out a lot of sugar and replacing it with liquid splenda and diet sodas. and also lost 30 pounds as a result. My doctor orders labs done every 3 months and have been stable for a couple years.
