Yep and the Nutritionist will be just happy as a lark when you consume 300 grams of carbs a day (Probably they were taught by a shill from the pharmaceutical industrial group so that the resulting blood numbers will put you in the position of having to buy their meds) – – Did you notice how proteins did not even make the list???

  4. It is a shame that a “reputable” publishing company like Time can put out such an irresponsible magazine. People who are not inquisitive or not that bright could read this and take it in good faith as the definitive word on how to control diabetes. Sad they will be misinformed and the consequence will be their health. But not us Beat Diabetes followers…we know better!

  5. The Australian diabetes association reccomends wholemeal toast for breakfast, and brown rice to replace white. They haven’t got a clue! I thank heaven for you, and the doctors you have faith in.
    My diabetes is gone, thanks to you, that is until I eat an Indian nan bread, then Mike the meter tells me I broke the rules. The demon is not gone, it’s just under control.

  6. Sounds like a cancer based paper or vegan deal… i mean dates and plums, the most concentrated sugar.. IS NOT A DIABETIC

  7. “TIME” is the best comedy magazine in America. I used to think “MAD” magazine was, but “TIME” is more full of jokes, like this this article. I’ve gone from a fasting glucose of 383 to 85. Here is my list. 1. Salmon, 2. Ground beef, 3 bacon, 4. Eggs, 5. Butter, 6. Sardines, 7. Ham, 8. Hot dogs, 9. Chicken, 10. Cod, 11. Lettuce, 12. Green beans, 13. Walnuts, 14. Black olives. Trust me, it’s the spikes that matter. Keep those low. Thank you Ben and Den.
