🤓ChatGPT Prompts:

🧠 Prompt #1: Basal Metabolic Rate + Macros
“Calculate my BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) or daily baseline for calories from scratch, one question at a time. I would also like for you to calculate my lean body mass and provide for me a calculation of my macros based on one gram of protein per pound of lean body mass (or estimated lean body mass), and then create for me a macro plan including calories to lose two pounds per week without losing muscle. Please respond with all questions and information in the imperial system versus the metric system. Only give me the strategy or the answer—I don’t need you to show me your math.”

📉 Prompt #2: Follow-up if You Know Your Body Fat %
“My body fat percentage is [insert amount]. Calculate for me my daily macros to maintain muscle and to lose two pounds per week based on one gram of protein for each pound of ideal lean body mass.”

❓ Prompt #3: If You DON’T Know Your Body Fat %
“Help me calculate my lean body mass by asking me one question at a time to provide for me the daily macros and calorie plan to maintain muscle and lose two pounds per week based on one gram of protein for each pound of ideal lean body mass.”

🔥 Prompt #4: NEAT Calorie Burn (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis)
“Based on the activity I shared with you that I do on a daily basis, give me a list of 20 ideas, which if I incorporated five to seven of them, I could increase my daily calorie burn by anywhere from 200 to 300 calories per day without increasing my exercise.

I have to check out this video. Right now, I have changed my workout routine to include more weights and less cardio, and I’m HUNGRY! Trying to organize my diet is a bit overwhelming because I’m having issues getting lots of protein in without all the calories. There’s a lot of information out there.

    • @chalenejohnson says:

@ I actually also just made a video on protein so check that out too!

  • @Createalifeyoulove777 says:

I swear you remind me of those preachers who ALWAYS preach the exact situation you’re going through! It never fails… whatever i’m considering or pondering, you make a new YT video about it. Thank you chica! 🤗

I only did BB because of you and followed you ever since! 💕 My favorite piece of this was the conversation around the subconscious mind and what we tell ourselves. IMO, there’s not enough focus on this in the fitness world. And it might be the most important part.

THANK YOU for adding that in. 🙌

Oh my God Charlene, when you said how you think about your body causes you to seek confirmation of the thought or thoughts, and it causes our behavior to act accordingly, (paraphrasing of course,) a lightbulb went off for me and I am in tears… You are such a priceless gift to all of us women out here on this journey at the same time you are. I am so very grateful for you and I can’t wait to try chatty to see what she has to say about my fitness journey ❤

Love this video! I have been microdosing GLP1 for about 3 months now primarily for reducing inflammation and regulating hormones. Thanks to you I reached out to MIDI and my provider I’m working with has been amazing. I started on HRT and microdosing with MIDI and it has been a game changer! Of course, I still continue to eat healthy, prioritize protein, and do resistance training in addition to walking with my weighted vest everyday. I’ve lost 13 lbs and at 56 feel the best I’ve ever had! I feel strong and I’m nit constantly fighting my body. Im going to consider supplementing with Berberine as well. Thank you for everything you do!!! Your content is invaluable! 😊

    I appreciate you so much!
Pretty sure I’m going through perimenopause.
Also diagnosed with MS in 2019 Walter bounds in 2021 delivered last baby in 2023. I think I started perimenopause before I got pregnant… Hot flashes, night sweats, skin sensitivities, cycles further apart and lighter as well as shorter.
After our fifth son was delivered, I couldn’t lose the last 20 pounds. I also had this crazy big flappy belly. I’ve never had before.
I spent the last year and ahalf fasting, cutting calories, and increasing cardio, a.k.a. and cycling
Now I have increased protein, stops, counting calories, started lifting my dumbbells. That’s all I could do in my condition . Started practicing standing with weighted vest. So much more energy and so much stronger.

    • @calista1280 says:

It sounds like you’re doing GREAT!🎉 I’ve had 10:21 with major pain and fatigue…😢 Since reading & following DR WAHL’S PROTOCOL, she cured her MS or at least it’s in long-term remission!😊 Also, Dr Peter Osborne’s book NO GRAIN NO PAIN and eliminating GRAINS, i.e., GLUTENS that cause pain, disease & inflammation.😮
I have more ENERGY & VITALITY FOR LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST!!!🎉😅

  • @monicacarr6387 says:

Thanks for being real. Knowing how supplements AND hormones are affecting us is huge!!!! Why isn’t this more widely reported? It’s a maze out there and I appreciate your clearing the clutter for those of us of a certain age who are shocked at the “body snatcher” called menopause!! 😊

  • @stacylane4308 says:

I lost 14 pounds in 30 days while eating, never starved but focused on higher protein meals and some fiber. I started with 8,000 steps and 20-30 mins strength training

  • @JamieAndrick says:

I went from a size 14 down to a size 3, consumed 165 grams of protein a day, at 6 meals a day, and weight trained 6 days a week, time frame was approx 7 months. i didn’t count calories, only thing I counted was protein grams and my menu consisted of foods that were 30 or below on the glycemic index. And I made sure i ate before sleeping, an efa with protein!

  • @Bee_Hive_10134 says:

Hello beautiful lady, I don’t know if you remember me, but I was with you right along with you after you stopped drinking. I really thought that when I stopped drinking it would be my ticket to the fat just melting away… but paired with perimenopause, the weight loss has stalled. I’m putting in these numbers TONIGHT. I also recently came across Dr. Stacy Sims and just love her approach. I’ve been a long time intermittent faster and Keto follower, but I think I tanked my hormones and fasting too much. I stopped doing that now but I really have to change my eating. The struggle. Thank you so much for this video!!! I’m still not drinking… No liquor since the beginning of September of last year. I am still healing my gut after having to go on antibiotics for a tooth infection last summer, and it really did a number on my poor tummy and digestion and I was down to eating only about 5 foods until just recently. The gut is SOOOO important! I’ve been on so many supplements and I’m finally getting better. I’m still waiting on back surgery so I’m having to face the daily pain without the aid of alcohol, but I’m trusting in God’s plan and that He will get me though without it. Thank you for being an inspiration! <3 Loves! ~Heidi, Michigan
