What happens when a Wall Street bond trader discovers Bitcoin? In this episode of the Cashflow Academy Podcast, Andy Tanner sits down with author and financial researcher Nik Bhatia to break down Bitcoin like you've never heard before — through the lens of traditional finance.

Nik Bhatia, author of Bitcoin Layered Money and Bitcoin Age, explains the evolving role of Bitcoin in today’s financial landscape. A former bond trader turned Bitcoin advocate, Bhatia shares why he believes Bitcoin is more than a speculative asset. They compare Bitcoin’s foundation to the early internet, discuss its coexistence with traditional finance, and unpack the volatility that often comes with innovation. Bhatia encourages a measured, long-term approach to Bitcoin by viewing it not as a get-rich-quick scheme, but as a savings technology that may outlast many current financial systems.

Is Bitcoin the new gold? A threat to real estate? A better savings account? Or just overhyped digital code? Whether you're a skeptic, a believer, or just crypto-curious, this episode is packed with insights that connect the dots between monetary policy, blockchain technology, and personal investing.

is quantum computing a threat to BTC in the future

    • @shooterman335 says:

Both Michael Saylor and Howard Lutnik have addressed this, but the short answer is no. If quantum computing can break the encryption of BTC, it can break almost all other encryption, so we would simply move to a quantum-resistant encryption algorithm.

Dude in the Blue needs to stop acting like he knows Bitcoin and intelligent and let his Guest speak; he’s the GURU and you the one that limped into Bitcoin at $300. The Guest studied then bought. Now who’s smarter and who should we listen to?!?

I’m 55, hoping to end the rat race at 60. I know money is liability to be exchanged for real assets like real estate (rental income) stocks (dividends) gold (wealth) But, what is it with bitcoin? I’d love to spread across $500k in order to retire comfortably.

    • @J.woltz48 says:

      buy Bitcoin. Thank me later

    • @laughlynxxx says:

look at the charts, bitcoin has outperformed every stock and banking product ever developed even after multiple pullbacks over the last decade. not a financial advisor but I know exactly what i’m saying

    • @shelby_shaw says:

The key is diversification. Personally, I delegate my day-to-day investing to a license advisor, cos my job doesn’t permit the time to analyze stocks myself. Thankfully, my portfolio just 2X in barely 18 months now.

    • @SergiannaPawson says:

@@shelby_shaw i’m blown away! mind sharing basic info please? i am a young adult living in Miami where i’ve encountered several millionaires and my goal is to become one as well ..

    • @shelby_shaw says:

Can’t divulge much, I take guidance from a Pennsylvania-based advisor ‘Karen Lynne Chess’ and most likely, the internet is where to find her basic info, simply do your research.

  • @JosephMartinez-b5q says:

Gold, BTC, quality global stocks, yes, however not property, if the U.S. dollar gets hyperinflation everything becomes worthless in that country, only global assets survive. Yes assets will go up against the U.S. dollar, however the U.S. dollar would become worthless compared to other currencies or global assets. As for property in the U.S, property is a national fiat asset, it would go up in value against the U.S. dollar, however not in other currencies or global assets. .. Anyone feeling the impact of these economic shifts should consider Crypto long-term trading strategies to protect their assets. My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this inflation, just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 820k from day trading with Alison Bruce in few weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish..
