    • @suewarman9287 says:

      You look very tired, George!

    • @seangallagher8233 says:

II have heard that when there’s a worldwide financial collapse, for a short time (whilst the banks need time to move credit into the system), the dollar (and its derivatives) will rocket in value. Perhaps that’s what they are preparing for.

On another note, we have to remember the devaluation that’s happened since 2008. To reach realistically similar levels, the nominal amount of USD would need to be significantly (about 50%) higher. So, perhaps there’s still some way to go before there’s actually the same level of speculation, or whatever it is, going on.

  • @apple1231230 says:

We’ve had 50% cumulative inflation since 2008 so I don’t think we’re quite as scary as then, but at this trajectory we certainly could hit equivalent levels more rapidly than not.

    • @aydrian9196 says:

      The correct take

    • @BoreasCastel says:

Yeah, and since people became more efficient over that time, the total supply of money will have grown by more than 50% since that inflation hides deflation.

    • @davidc1878 says:

Can someone explain? I do not really know what “50% cumulative inflation since 2008” refers to. Was inflation a lot higher prior to the subprime meltdown?

    • @zinck_dome7072 says:

Exactly that was the first thing that came to my mind as well. But the political flip flops are causing some massive uncertainties in the market so you never know

    • @zinck_dome7072 says:

@@davidc1878it simply means that the value of money has eroded due to inflation. In simpler terms, $100 in 2008 has the same buying capacity as $70 in today. So that means the $1 trillion number is equivalent to something like $500 billion in 2008

  • @Hilalahmadbhat-v3i says:

Just swapped all of my last ETH and swapped it into XA17P. Already up a little bit. Unfortunately I have some other junk staked which won’t free up for a while. Still now I am on the train!

  • @VanshGiriGoswami-u1r says:

I see XA17P moving right along side all the Alt’s you mentioned! Plus I see all the Alt’s plus XA17P moving in lock step in the charts! My point is XA17P is cheap! Retail likes buying cheap! Especially when that cheap item is on the verge of becoming expensive

So, what’s the take away from this video? What do I as an average consumer/investor do now? Just file this information in the misc. folder?

    • @JulietaGeelan says:

Just finished reading this piece on the year’s best stocks crashing, and it’s fascinating how the market behaves sometimes. Last month, I pulled in a ridiculous profit of $500,000 in just three weeks. I’m staying diversified using the algorithmic trading system These movements can be both a curse and a blessing. It’s all about knowing when to buy or sell.

    • @TaiwoEgbayelo-n6r says:

@@JulietaGeelanJuliet that’s an insane amount of profit in such a short time. Who’s your coach or expert guiding you? My investments have been pretty slow recently and I’m thinking I need to change up my strategy or seek some guidance.

@@JulietaGeelan I just checked out Patricia Ann Trinity online and wow, she has a solid reputation. Her credentials are indeed impressive. Seems like she knows her stuff inside out!

Brethren, trust God when you pray it works. He said all we need to do is ask in prayers. My testimony spans from penury to $95,000 monthly, and you stay and doubt that he doesn’t answer prayers. Make that altar now and spend time there. A change is in the way. Amen!!!

Could it be they are preparing for Stablecoin issuance? They’ll need to raise collateral and prove that they have to issue. Just a thought.

  • @RaymondKeen. says:

Biggest lesson i learnt in 2024 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and low a strategy with a long term edge.

    • @BellamyGriffin19 says:

Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.

    • @PaulKatrina. says:

It’s often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

    • @ScottKindle-bk3hx says:

this is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i’m in dire need of proper portfolio allocation

    • @PaulKatrina. says:

Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with Lisa Grace Myer for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.

    • @ChristianKelv says:

I just googled her name and I’m really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a call.

  • @BTC_DNA says:

Is the “Collateral” chart adjusted for inflation? TIA

  • @sonalrathod3931 says:

I’ll be honest—after finishing Smart Broke Dumb Rich by Zor Veyl, my first thought was: “How is this book even allowed to exist?” It completely tore apart everything I’d been told by schools, family, and society about money. No fluff, no empty motivational quotes—just brutal, raw truth. Now I get why Smart Broke Dumb Rich by Zor Veyl isn’t mainstream—it’s too honest. If you can get your hands on it, do it before it disappears.

  • @AndyClarkson-j4f7d says:

I think we need the collateral expressed in some sort of ratio over time. As a percentage of overall debt, or GDP, or inflation-adjusted, or something else to make this clearer.

Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Adriana sandoval

Wow! This is sobering. The new bubble has exceeded the old. We need a full podcast on what Risk-Off looks like to the lay economist. Have you considered that the only thing backing treasuries is TAXES! The entire industrial world is depending on people paying their taxes, but people are sick of high taxes and government spending waste. Will the state and local governments be able to collect enough taxes to keep out of bankruptcy? Will municipal bonds be the next crack in the Wall Street economy?
