I walk and lift and with hormonal shift at 44 it’s still a hard road. I also enjoy carbs more than protein which keeps me not as lean as I’d like 🫠🤪🫣
I think you should mention to women about your hormone replacement as I think that probably is a Huge component of your physique. I don’t feel comfortable with HRT and just want other women to know that it’s normal not so see those exact results as our bodies shift with aging. I love your content and you inspire me but I just want women to know that “results may vary based upon your hormonal situation” 😃💗

My knees are so iffy! And I workout at home and only use dumbbells, so I’m limited to what I can actually hold in my hands. I haven’t been able to hold more than a 30 lb dumbbell in each hand.

Hey Chalene! Thanks for this video. I am doing your reset program, concentrating on my walking. I restarted exercising in January, doing mostly zone 2 cardio, and started incorporating some weights in about May or June. My upper body is limited as I had surgery on my left elbow in March, which is still healing and I have carpal tunnel and epicondylitis on my right side as well. Since I can’t put a lot of weight on my hands/elbows, I am trying to lift something. And I’ll continue and focus on what I can do. I need to be more consistent with my weight lifting. But 1 thing at a time. I think I’m doing well with the walking, which has been more important to me than the other exercising I was doing since I’m not as busy during the day. It gives me a chance to move my body.

How do you lift heavy like that in those forms without hurting your back?
