I drive a truck OTR 48 state so I live everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Even with my 1k sq ft house in Colorado built in y2k my total cost of living is $3500 per month including my $2k mortgage. It pays to keep expenses low. I’m in Miramar Florida, renting half of a house for $1500, the landlord is a sweetheart, she said she’s willing to drop it to $1000. Which is steal compared to what others are paying around me.
