BEEF & PORK CHILI RECIPE:
MY PRESSURE COOKER / INSTANT POT:
Serves: 8
Prep Time: 20 mins
Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins
Ingredients:
– 1 pound ground beef
– 8 ounces bulk pork sausage (I use chicken sausage)
– 1 cup chopped onion
– 4 cloves minced garlic
– 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
– 1 15-ounce can kidney beans, drained
– 1 15-ounce can pinto beans, drained
– 1 cup beef broth
– 2 14.5 ounce cans fire-roasted tomatoes, undrained
– 2 tbsp chili powder
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1 4-ounce can diced green chiles, undrained
– Shredded cheese
– Sour cream
– Sliced green onions
Instructions:
1. Select saute and cook ground beef, sausage, onion, and garlic for about 10 minutes or until meat is browned and onion is tender.
2. Stir in tomato sauce, beans, broth, tomatoes, chili powder, black pepper, and chiles.
3. Cook at high pressure for 10 minutes. When cooking is complete, use a natural release to depressurize.
4. Serve with cheese, sour cream, and/or green onions.
