This Is What Happens When You Don’t Sleep – Dr. Nicole Srednicki

insulin resistance, diabetes, blood sugar, weight loss

Sleep isn’t a luxury — it’s a biological necessity. In this episode of Ultra Healthy Now, Dr. Nicole Srednicki dives deep into the real consequences of poor sleep—from hormone disruption and weight gain to accelerated aging, low libido, brain fog, and even increased risk of disease.

You’ll meet Robert, a 62-year-old entrepreneur who thought sleeping 5 hours a night was the key to success… until his health, energy, and vitality started crumbling. Through Robert’s story, Dr. Nicole reveals how chronic sleep deprivation rewires your body—and how reversing it can restore your health.

This episode explains why the CDC calls lack of sleep a public health epidemic and how our hustle culture, blue light, stress, and hidden factors like gut issues or toxins are silently stealing our longevity.

If you’re tired of being tired, this is your wake-up call. Learn how sleep impacts hormones like cortisol and testosterone, immune health, and mental clarity—and why prioritizing deep, restorative sleep may be the most powerful anti-aging decision you’ll ever make.
