What if I don’t eat meat is it still possible to reverse it

      It makes it more difficult.

Keep your carbs under 75 a day and see where that gets you. If it is not working then lower the carbs to 50 a day. High fat and high protein is the most satisfying way to live. Good for mental and physical health. You can have 4 eggs a day with butter and salt to be satisfied. Fish is good if you eat fish. You can’t live without being happy with what you are eating. MEMO: the three things important to health come in this order: First is nutrition. Second is sleep. Third is exercise. If all else is failing High Intensity Interval Training makes a difference!

On New Year’s Eve, I got all-prettied up to go to a gathering, laid down to take a nap prior to leaving, and didn’t wake up until 1 a.m. I missed the whole event, which probably ended up being a good thing…no wrong food 🤪

Do you buy fresh or frozen salmon? I live in ND with fewer fresh seafood choices and haven’t found a mild flavored salmon. Please advise!

There is a bbq sauce with no sugar I use and it’s the best I ever tasted. Also our Walmart here sells a 0 carb bread and it is great ! It doesn’t spike my Lingo at all and you can find it in the freezer section .

  • @a.b.2458 says:

I am still on the green bean and hamburger patty diet you suggested. My a1c went from 10.4 to 6.9 in 4 month, no meds.

We hope 2025 will be the best year ever for you two. You have done so much for us. My wife, Ann, after an extremely severe illness, started low carb 2 months ago and is doing super. Meal #1 – She loves chaffels any kind of way, but she will only eat 1/2 of a chaffel. I can’t get her to eat a whole one. She’s worried about the after meal spike. She is determined to keep that spike low. Meal #2 – Salmon is her favorite or should I say, our favorite food. She eats salmon or tuna or cod or some kind of fish almost daily or every other day. Meal #3 She loves everything teriyaki, but she insisted that I buy sugar free teriyaki sauce. Meal #4 Ann loves shrimp, but she won’t touch a cracker with a 10 foot fork. LOL. Well that’s how she is. Thank you Dennis and thank you Benedicta for all you do for so many people. You are a such a wonderful blessing for all of us out here.

I did strict keto by Dr. Eric Westman. We never had fat goals. In a way he limited fat intake as he limited you on sauces, creams, etc since they can be high in fat when not eaten in moderation. However, we could eat all the meat, fish, eggs, pork rinds, etc we wanted. Saw my best results ever. 60+ pounds. My hypertension was under control. Only my triglycerides remained high. I slept better and was hoping sleep apnea would go away with weight loss. I was originally over 340. However, it was not sustainable. Loved the results but needed something I coul change and stay with the change. I kept strict keto up for about 6 months. Favorite meals were at steakhouses and Japanese hibachi restaurants. Tons of meat and vegetables i liked.
