@chalenejohnson, I had my first Midi visit this week, and I LOVED it!!!
I’ve been taking Progynova (Estradiol) for decades. My skin looks great, so do my boobs and my hair. My heart, even with electrical problems, is healthy. And I have ZERO bone loss. I have looked over a decade younger the entire time.
That is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with all of us!
I truly enjoy the fact that you take the time to do your research to then present it to us. I always feel very confident in the content you put out and appreciate it (menopause, or any other topic at that) 😊
This means a lot to me! I feel like there’s not enough info out there so I’m glad to share all the research and facts with you 💖
I just got a pallet. 2 weeks in, and im starting to feel better. I’m 48 and still cycling normally, but I have not been myself for over 12 years. For the first time in a long time, I’m starting to feel hopeful.
I’m so happy to hear that! Is about time you start to feel like yourself!
I asked my gyn about HRT since I’m menopausal and she said you don’t need it is too risky , end of story . Went on meds for panic attacks thru my GP and those I never had before peri-and post menopause
Oh my gosh no!! I can’t with this, please do go to MiDi, cause it doesn’t have to be like that girl
I’m one of those lucky people who has great naturopathic doctor. She got me on HRT and my life has changed. I have a couple of friends who went with MIDI and had great results. I also have friends who don’t have access to both due to cost. I wish health care in the US is more affordable for everyone.
P.S. Thank you for being an advocate for this topic, Chalene. You are doing great work and is much appreciated. I’m sharing this with the ladies in my life .
I know! I completely agree! I’m happy you and your friends have found something that works great for you!!
@@yakkidiyak my natural pathogen doctor was clueless and he’s a awesome doctor.
I booked an apt with MIDI bc I saw it on your channel however I was extremely disappointed. It was very general advice, not specific or specialized at all, which is what I already get from my primary care doctor. I thought they were geared more towards optimal health but I think I knew just as much if not more than the nurse practitioner I met with. 😭
Midi does NOT have all insurances. I have Cigna, and it is not covered.
Again Chalene slays! As a breast cancer survivor I’m so happy you asked that questuon. Its so hard to find any information good or bad on this topic. I would love to see a whole episode dedicated to alternate HRT for breast cancer survivors. I love my oncologist but when i pushed a little, i got the hard NO to HRT and was not offered any alternate options. Just “your doing great, see you in 6 months.” I’m blessed and overjoyed to be past it. But now its time to adovate harder for myself/other woman. Quality of life in our mature years is so important no matter what your medical history. Thank you so much girl ❤🙏🤗
Love, Becca C
I love this! Thank you so much for sharing Becca
Exactly, agree with everything you say. So glad it was covered
Low horomones is also associated with adrenal fatigue and taking pharmaceutical medicines
Why do i feel horrible on hrt? I feel so frustrated because i want to be on it for bone health but i fill up with fluid retention and feel exhausted when i use it
Thank you for sharing this, these are exactly the side effects that women need to be talking about! And yet the YouTube influencers and other HRT advocates almost never discuss side effects it seems.
I started HRT and used the cream. When I first started I would just do about half of what it said and slowly built up. It really helped ease me into the hormones levels and not just blast me with high levels. See about trying that. Take your time and stop and cut back until your comfortable. it might let you stay on a dose that can still give u some benefits.
I’m in the UK so easier to get hrt. My GP no longer prescribes the creams as she thinks your absorption isn’t as consistent as the patches. She thinks her patients do much better on the patch and is less user error.
Get your Vit D3 blood levels sorted. And correct thyroid levels.
Look at each Vit B from 1– to 12.. ( extra B1.2, biotin and B6. Etc can make a better g difference. Take Methylated Folate. Or correct Folate from foods..
vitamin B is essential.. they all need to be balanced ..
They will help your kidneys heart and bowel . To remove extra Fluid.
correct omega 3
Check your Minerals from selenium. Boron:. To copper. Are Correct.. Magnesium is essential.. not oxide.
Try to eat foods for nutrition but over 50 we need extra vitamins..
Try to find an integrated Dr. To test all your vitamin levels.. 🎉
I also have water retention issues even before HRT. What helps: I’m on a minimal dosage of estrogen. Also I have absolutely no salt at dinner (of course there are exceptions). What also is helping but I’m not ready for it: remove sugar from my diet – but I love my chocolates.
I wish you also asked about if there’s any side effects when you get estrogen or progesterone therapy
I’ll ask her!
Thank you for covering HRT for women who have had breast cancer. Most articles I read just says “if you’ve had breast cancer HRT is a no no, period”
In Ireland when you go the doc and say you have anxiety and you’re not sleeping – they don’t let you continue. They immediately write a script for anti-depressants and if you continue complaining you’ll be sent for psych eval.
😮
Thank you for all your help about HRT Chalene, I appreciate you and all your research to help us.❤💖
Chalene girl, you always have the greatest experts on. I look forward to every single video you put out❤ Thank you. Xoxo
I just shared your video with 6 of my family & friends!!!
I’ve now had 2 Midi appointments and I’m SO impressed. We talked about every option out there for my symptoms. No immediate judgements and no immediate hard “no’s”. My local gyno never mentioned HRT and when I asked for it she asked ME what to take! Hello, I’m paying a lot of money for medical advice! My MIDI provider carefully studied the lab work I sent from my other care providers and addressed issues that she saw. She provided me with succinct and understandable summaries of our visits THE SAME DAY!! Prescriptions were filled in a timely manner without having to remind anyone or correct mistakes (which happens frequently with some of my other providers). I feel very confident in the advice I received. My primary care doc is totally on board, too! I am very glad I tried MIDI.
This is great i’m a menopause coach & you cover it all here thankyou sharing ❤️
Thank you Chalene for this awesome episode! It was your videos about Midi that made me turn to them for help with HRT. I love my Midi provider! She truly listens to what I have to say. I’m now on HRT, estriol cream, Tretinoin and Tirzepatide. All of this has made me feel like a new person! Thank you for your continued efforts in providing us with information that is changing our lives for the better!!! ❤
