Perhaps rancid meat because the meat is breaking down prior to digestion and the nutrients are more easily assimilated.

Ironically, it was the availability of insulin in the 1920s that lead to the eat whatever you want standard of care. Before that the recommended diet was meat, eggs fish. No carbs.

What happened to Captain Meredith happened to me. I never got skinny but I lost 50+ unexplained pounds and was urinating all the time. I also felt horrible! When I was diagnosed with diabetes my A1C was 14.7. That was last December. Last Tuesday it was 5.6.

Diabetes was known as far back as the ancient Egyptians.
The Greeks learned much of their medicine from Egypt.
If the Romans wanted a good doctor, they got an Egyptian one.
Records of Egyptian medicine goes back 5000 years. 3,500 different treatments are recorded, their belief in magic, and the placebo effect obviously affects their results.
But we too have our own beliefs that queen results.
Reportedly, 98% of studies agree with whoever funded them .
Mummy’s have been found to have had diabetes.
Presumably, the high living aristocracy and priesthood were the ones who got it.
Metformin originates from the plant Goat’s rue (Galega officinalis) , berberine from the many berberis plants, both effective for reducing blood sugars, for example.
All medicine was homoeopathic before medicine was taken over by pharma at the behest of Rockefeller. His personal Dr was a homoeopath.
This is true homoeopathic healing, not that garbage proposed by Samual Hahnemann, promoted to discredit homoeopathic remedies and promote pharmalogical medicine.

Yep just like my grandmother had all sorts of home remedies. A stye on the eye put a drop of urine on before bed. Wake up no stye. Love Dennis and his wife. How I reversed my type 2

I’m finally a member of the fives club! My A1c is 5.7. I’ve lost 30 pounds and I love eating low carb. No diabetes meds at all! My doctor is happy. I’ve just recently been diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer and am going to have a bilateral mastectomy soon. I expect that my better overall health will be very beneficial as I fight this new battle. Glory be to God! Thanks, Dennis, for all you do to help those of us with diabetes. Diane in NC
