Great video. Too bad most young people will not follow your advice until they have to. Dr. Bernstein’s book is an amazing reference.

Many really big people are insulin sensitive for longer. The insulin mechanism has to work well to put that much fat on. They also tend to grow new fat cells rather than overfill the old ones. Slim people put on the visceral fat and become diabetic sooner.
Obesity does not cause diabetes. Bad diet does. Bad diet plus insulin caused his severe obesity. Dr B’s patient was in a period where he gushes insulin to keep his glucose ok. Could go on for years and years because he is relatively insulin sensitive. Meanwhile maintaining his obesity.

I was one of them who had Diabetes but didn’t have any symptoms that I recognized.

I was also overweight but didn’t look like it.

I did have some symptoms but didn’t realize it.

I was working at a Bird dog kennel and would feel dizzy every time I bent over.

Later I got a 2nd Job to increase income a little. An hour or so before time to go home I literally fainted. I didn’t know I was diabetic and they asked me but I probably was. It was two years later when I got stung by a bee and my sister made me go to the doctor that I was diagnosed.
