I love to order the largest roast beef sandwich at Arby’s with no sauce and then I eat the meat with a tablespoon of Sweet Baby Ray’s No Sugar Added Teriyaki Marinate. So good. But the one downfall…1700 grams of sodium!

  • @ercell02 says:

I have the same problem only it is gluten…

I love the salmon and broccoli choice! Very filling.
I don’t have diabetes but last year I was almost pre diabetic. I dropped from 5.8 to 5.3… by watching your videos. Now I need to watch my food again because I’ve been eating too many carbs again. They take my blood in June, and it’s March now!

We sometimes go to Olive Garden. Two of the great low carb meals are the broiled salmon with green vegetable and a salad and their Margarita Chicken.

Macdonald’s will sell you just the paddy alone. No bun or anything else. Its cheaper then buying the burger and then throwing the bad stuff away. Last time I was there I ordered 4 paddy’s , they messed up and gave me 4 sausage paddy’s … I didnt bother complaining, since I was in the drive through, they were rather tasty lol. Ya your fingers get a bit greasy but cheaper and better then tempting yourself with all the extra stuff you shouldn’t eat.

As an Italian American, I really appreciated this video.

  • @deegee9560 says:

Wow! I thought you were 60! Look great brother! You can ask mcDs to give you the sausage egg cheese without the buns and its cheaper! Same for the other burgers!!! Quarterpounder fix is a large patty with or without cheese no bun=$2.50 instead of $6.00+ in Los Angeles!!! Freshest meat is Wendy’s meat pattys!!!! Their chili is good but has some sugar added! I eat sprouted pumpkin seeds, almonds, walnuts, in salads (not iceburg lettuce) no rice or pasta! Plenty of home made chauffels and cauliflower pizza!!! If you get dominos pizza or any other pizza, just scrape off and eat toppings only! Ha! I’ve learned so much from you Dennis!!!! Oh, I have to go easy on the fat now as some diabetics tend to have a bile issue and can’t process the fat as well or at least should use a moderate amount of butter, olive oils ! I think that may be why butter bob left! Bile is like Dawn dish soap! It cuts and mixes the grease and fat so it digests! So natural is the way to go! No vegetable oils or seed oils for me! Only olive and avocado! Almond flour fufu bread with some mixed grains is great!!!!!!!! Love all of your shows!!!!

I make Pastitsio at home. It’s quite easy to make and i don’t need to cook again for days after making it.

  • @rebeccarinard9950 says:

I do the sausage egg and cheese Mcmuffin and at least remove the top bun, sometimes both. You can ask them for one of the plastic trays they use for meals and a knife and fork. Then you can take off both buns and eat the sausage and egg in a civilized manner😂. If im really hungry i will use the survey on a previous receipt where you get a code after doing it which you give the cashier; it will get you ANY sandwich BOGO, so for the price of one, i get 2 of those bad boys chuck the four buns and chow down with knife and fork. Very filling! I also get an iced coffee with sugar free vanilla and extra cream for .99. So for just over $4 i get a nice big breakfast.

    The “Crootins….” 😂

  • @cormchm2853 says:

If in Italian restaurant and no eata de pasta, they will smite you.

  • @jpotter2086 says:

Nothing heavy at an “Italian” restaurant, sounds suspicious 😀 … American Italian restaurants are a disaster. Traditional Italian, tho, are heaven.

  • @TES-bt8sv says:

When I go to Italian restaurants, I look for grilled chicken, salmon, meatballs, and salads. I do not eat any bread and tell waiter, “No croutons.” I just eat a little bit of marinara sauce since tomatoes spike my blood sugar.
