How to get attention & build authority (even if you’re not famous yet)

If you're building a personal brand of any kind, you need two things: attention, and authority. How do you do this in a crowded space, especially when you aren't known for anything yet?

In this video, I show you how. It doesn't matter what content platform you're publishing on, you can create in a way that positions you as an authority.

  1. Starting in the Pokémon niche, this channel has been so valuable! It reassures me that I’m doing some things right and highlights where I can grow! Thanks Pat!

  2. Hey Pat, this video was amazing. I am beginning my podcasting streaming journey. I was finding it challenging to have great confidence in my videos. I do public speaking regularly and believe I have great authority. But transitioning all of this to the camera has been awkward. This video reassured me that I have these things. Thank you!

  3. Your technical speaking is extremely engaging with emphasis on certain words; showing a sense of urgency to hear certain parts. But when you do you talk a little lower it brings it back into a bit more of a normal talk but you don’t stay at that tone very long. It helps to keep the audience engaged and on the edge of their seat wanting to hear more. It’s probably less of a notable thing to point out as you’re not standing but your hands are not at a cross position or at a relaxed position but they are also not too high up. Your hand positioning shows authority and no nonsense here talk, as well as keeping you moving a bit so you aren’t just a talking statue. Anyways I came over from deep pocket monster watching you, and these vids are extremely interesting even without going into this field of entrepreneurial journeys. Love the content you put out and how you’re giving so much to people you don’t even know or prob won’t ever meet, best of wishes to you, see you on burning a hole in your wallet shadows Sunday! As well as the live on Monday! 🫡
