Attention is the “most potent magic we innately possess”. Rightly utilized, with discipline and wisdom, can shape reality.

Lots of blessings from India ❤

Also, to the guest, I am sorry for anything in the Israel that is hard for you. I am so encouraged that you, and hopefully people like you, are in the equation. I’m still largely ignorant, but more immersed in all sides that many non-Israelis and non-Palestinians are. I’d love to talk more. Won’t say we should, but it would be really good if we did.

On trends, they are helpful in the way a surfer grabs the wave. But to chase them, to give attention to that hunt, is to rob where you otherwise would have been attentive.

Great tips, Amy! I have to admit that I can get better at this! Thanks!

I can’t express how much I related to this conversation.
I have ADHD too and I find it so difficult to calendar block because my mind might not be in it at that time, or my kids/hubby need something or distract me.
Thank you so much for posting these, I’m LOVING them ❤

  • @paytonhayes says:

This is an amazing conversation! It is so refreshing to see these topics discussed and through the open-minded lenses you both are seeing from. It reminds me of this phrase: “Two things can be true at the same time!” You can be concerned and educated about what is going on in the world and actively try to make a positive difference AND still keep working towards your goals and going after the life you want. These things aren’t mutually exclusive. People are complex, rich, multifaceted beings and regard for current events can exist simultaneously in someone’s mind along with the desire for success without it being a bad thing. It might be good to take a moment to address the issues, share resources and ways for your community to help, and then move on back to the regularly scheduled programming, posting updates where and when necessary. Just be open and honest and authentic about what you’re experiencing and how you’re balancing your personal life with the world around you. Thank you for sharing this with us! Great conversation and beautifully said.
